Sou swallowed a bit hard as Max paused, presumably to answer her question. When he spoke, she realized that in essence, she was possibly blaming him for the attack. She hadn’t really thought completely on what she was implying with her question, but it came out that way nonetheless. She couldn’t tell if he took the question to heart as he responded jokingly about Ho-oh coming to the rescue and melting it to ice cubes. It seemed he himself wasn’t sure, at least that’s how it sounded by the way he spoke. There was a pause after his answer before he spoke up again, this time about not limiting herself. This made her frown a bit, not completely sure what he really meant behind those words. ”Limiting myself…?” she thought and then looked over at Zenith before looking down at the ground a bit. She was a bit deep in thought as Max went over to speak with Altea, thinking to herself a bit. Altea seemed to be happy to lead, smiling a bit. She could think about everything else later and was about to follow the group when Max’s egg gave a false alarm. She blinked, smiling a bit at a thought of a baby pokemon and then followed the group into forest. All they could hear was the natural sounds of the forest which was slightly familiar to her. The area near her home was a bit wooded after all, so it reminded her of her outings as her mind drifted back to Max’s statement.
