Tyler was lagging behind. He'd seen a Doduo evolve and go wild on the Bellsprouts that had bothered him and Davis and even more so, Alice. He's captured one and then spent a while trekking, bumping back into some other members of the group, and now he was outside the abandoned Viridian Gym, catching up on what had happened mainly. It was a beautiful city, Tyler thought, although battered about a little. He wasn't all too happy regarding the fact he'd not been able to explore the routes much due to the hectic nature of the journey, yet he did now have Zar'roc thanks to this. He was sure the Absol would become a close friend and powerful ally. Tyler was still staring at the gym.

"So, the leader only returns every now and again... Hmph, I bet they'd be no match for Clair or Lance..." Tyler muttered to himself, still staring at the beaten-down building. He'd return here one day and prove himself to be a great trainer. That day, however, was not today.
