"I'm Orion," the boy answered. His tone seemed to be nervous for some reason. He paused for several moments, then spoke again, "Look, I am not looking for a fight. You two would probably just be a waist of my time anyway."

Zenith deadpanned at Orin's blatant attempt to intimidate her and Max. Is this guy for real? He honestly thinks we're gonna battle him right here and now? she thought.

"You think this guy is a region champ..." Max joked to Zenith before responding seriously.'

"I have no idea, but he seems pretty sure of himself, don't you think?" Zenith joked back.

"We have no interest in battling you..you are just getting out of a gym battle. By the looks of it this was your first battle. No honor in challenging a trainer with less than a full team. We were simply looking for our friends. Who were waiting to get in a gym battle with Brock.." Max said now turning his focus to the gym.

"Over projecting might come off as tough to others but I've been blessed to battle many trainers and you have a terrible poker face man." Max said. "Congrats on the battle though...Excuse me. Ill be back in a minute Zenith I'm going to check on their status in line for the battle."

"Alright, see you in a few," Zenith said. She then watched as Orion walked off and went into the Pokemon Center. She sat down on the ground in front of the gym, waiting for Max and any of the others.
