"Then, it is set. I'll travel with you for now," Orion said."Where were you heading anyway?" he asked."We were heading to Mount Moon," Zenith said. "A special key was stolen from the Pewter City Museum, and Max and I offered to retrieve it. We'd really like to have your help. We have no idea who took it, so we don't know who we're up against. The more of us there are, the better. What do you say?"

Zenith was quickly getting fed up with Orion's cocky attitude, but she tried to hide it. She and Max needed all the help they could get for this mission, so she had to suffer through his showboating for now. Hopefully Orion would get over it quickly.

"Let's move, we got some ground to cover before we have a chance to catching up with the trainers who stole the key. Hopefully the cave slowed them down a little," Max said as he walked ahead.

Zenith followed after Max down the path, but stopped as several female Nidoran appeared in front of them. She smiled. For some reason, something in the back of her mind told her to catch one of them. She grabbed Tanya's Poke Ball and threw it in the air. "Tanya, let's go!" she said.

Tanya appeared in a flash of white light, spotting the female Nidoran, getting into a fighting stance.

"Tanya, use Tackle on that Nidoran!" Zenith said, pointing at one of the animals.

Zenith threw her Poke Ball at the female Nidoran and it was sucked into the device, which shook one... two... three times... PING! Nidoran was caught! The Poke Ball then vanished in a small flash of light as it was transported to the Pokemon Storage System.

"Thanks for helping me with the capture, Tanya," Zenith said, returning the purple rat to her Poke Ball. She waited to see if Max or Orion were going to catch any of the female Nidoran for themselves.

The appearance of the little female Nidoran matched up pretty well with the three trainers. Reaching the end or Route 3.


Max looked to Chunk to take on the Poison Type. Marshtomp had a big advantage of the little poison type. Max made sure not to hurt the pokemon to bad during the battle.

Orion was delighted to have the chance to had another Poison-type Pokemon to his collection. He could already imagine the magnificent Nidoqueen, the little female Nidoran would become. Nidoqueen being a dual Poison and Ground type would come in handy in quite a few situations.

"Time to see what you are made of [Raether]," Orion shouted as his newly caught Rattata appeared to assist him. Knowing Nidoran was probably stronger than his Pokemon, the young trainer chose to be extremely cautious.

"Just go for a Quick Attack," Orion ordered. The attack did just enough damage to give an opening for Orion to throw a Pokeball.

Orion also decided to fight the other Nidoran ♀ to practice his Pokemon battling. After all, he had to impress his new traveling companions.

"Come on out, [Quaen]," Orion shouted as the grumpy Ivysaur appeared. "It is our first battle since you evolved, show me what you got"

"Use Sleep Powder, then Vine Whip," Orion commanded. [Quaen] decided to go for a combination of Poison Powder and Razor Leaf. "Seriously, though, what are you doing?" its trainer asked shocked. The Ivysaur didn't care. Its foe had already fainted and it was the only thing the mattered.

Zenith watched as Max and Orion both caught a female Nidoran. Orion also decided to battle one of the remaining Nidoran to train his Ivysaur. She frowned slightly as she watched the Ivysaur ignore its trainer's orders as it battled. That's not good... if Orion's pokemon won't listen to him, it could become a problem, she thought.

Zenith continued along the path, eager to get to Mount Moon.

Sou eyes widened as Brocks last pokemon fell to the ground. A small crowd had gathered and cheered for the young trainer. She rushed out of the gym and darted to the Pokemon Center. She picked up the video chat and called her dad. The two places were hours appart. In Kalos it was now dark. The busy but excited father picked up the phone. An Axew and Bellsprout climed in front up to of the came to say hi to Sou. After explaining to father what had happened. He congratulate her. Telling her he was proud that his daughter was one of the few selected trainers to get a ticket the Champions Tournament. After a little while it was time to go. She headed out and checked out the Muesum and then moved on to battling trainers on Route 3. She trained hard before finally going to towards the Cave entrance.

However she was stopped by and bouncy little Igglybuff. Who had been watching her.



The pink little fairy type she wanted to hid and go seek it seemed. As it kept trying to hid. As she searched for the little pokemon she noticed Nidoran females coming out of the their dens dug out of the side of the trees. Then she noticed three new trainers. She couldnt make out what they were saying.


Max looked at Orion a little concerned.
" Some pokemon just take more time. May be best to use one of the others in improtant battles at least until you earn Ivysaurs respect." Max said turning to move on.

In the distance they could see the pokemon Center, the also noticed the girl Sou. Who had been playing hid and seek. She lowered down almost out of their line of sight.

Sou, still excited after her win from the gym battle with Brock, had a smile from ear to ear as she traveled along route 3. The path had some patches of grass and trees, but appeared to have plenty more dirt and rock to it, fitting for a place leading up to a cave. Either way, everything was going smoothly as she headed in the direction of the cave that supposedly connected Pewter and the next city or town. She pondered a bit on that, ”I wonder what the next city is…? Is there a gym there I wonder?” she muttered, her head cocked to the side as she pondered on that for about a minute, coming to a stop. She shook her head before long. ”It doesn’t matter, I’ll find out when I get there. A surprise is better then no surprise after all.” she thought with a smile as she continued. Along the way, she battled fellow trainer’s on their own journeys and wild pokemon she had encountered, finally letting out a breath as she wiped a bit of sweat off her forehead. ”Phew!” she exclaimed, followed by a tired laugh. The day certainly couldn’t get any better then it had, and the adventure couldn’t be more fulfilling. In any case, as she walked, she soon found herself stopped in her tracks by a cute and quite bouncy Igglybuff.

”Awww hey there little one” she said smiling as she squatted down so that she could have a better look at the small fairy-type pokemon. Fairy types were definitely her favorite kind of pokemon, most of them being adorable little things. But more then that, despite their size and mostly innocent appearances they packed quite a punch against some of the more larger, scarier pokemon, dragon types more-or-less. She bit her lip a bit as she had started to recall the incident, but then quickly shook it from her memory. Now wasn’t the time to be thinking about things that would put a damper on such a successful day. ”I need to keep positive, not just for myself, but so that my mom doesn’t worry about me” she thought, the smile creeping back onto her face as she picked herself up, the Igglybuff making motions as though it wanted to play. It became obvious from its movements what exactly it wanted to play to. ”Hide and seek huh? Well. I’m in no rush anyway, so lets play a little! she said enthusiastically, bringing her hands over to her eyes to cover them as the Igglybuff scrambled to find a hiding spot.

After about a minute of covering her eyes, Sou moved her hands away from her face. ”ready or not, here I come Igglybuff!” she said as she began to walk around in search of the small fairy-type. The area wasn’t too huge, so she was sure she’d find her little friend in time, catching the sight of something in the corner of her eye at that moment. She turned, to see some Nidoran females coming out of their dens, digging out the sides of some trees in the surrounding area. She blinked a few times, but smile when she saw three more trainer’s further in the distance. While she could make out their details well enough, she couldn’t make out exactly what they were saying. ”I shouldn’t pry….its not nice to listen in on other’s people’s conversations. Besides, they might want to battle and I don’t want to just stop in the middle of this game with the Igglybuff. It’ll upset the little one." she thought before she continued to look for the Igglybuff, ducking into the tall grass not only to look for the Igglybuff but to hopefully remain out of the trainer’s line of sight.

”I’m going to find you igglybuff~” she giggled as she watched the area, the blade’s of grass more specifically to see if she’d catch any movement in the grass.

Near by she noticed the grass shaking ever so lightly. However as she tried to move in the trainers were a lot closer. They were heading towards the Pokemon center. Max had spotted the trainer a little while back. He wondered what she could be tracking. Sometimes Max got a little head of himself.
"Give me a second." He said to Orion and Zenith.

" Maybe I can help her out." He said getting a little ahead of himself.

He ran along the edge of the tall grass dropping in to the mix. He carefully made his way over. The trainer had been distracted with creeping up on the spot where she believed the pokemon was.

" What are you tracking here..." He said poking his head out of the grass near by

Max unintentionally scared the trainer.

From the corner of her eye, Sou saw some of the tall grass shaking ever so slightly nearby. She smiled a bit. ”Found you…” she thought, unaware that one of the trainer’s from earlier had caught sight of her. Not only that, but the trainer was dropping in as she was preoccupied with finding the Igglybuff from before, so much so, she failed to notice despite having the capabilities to. Her target had to be just inches away, Sou ready to jump. To make a quick dash and gently grab the little Igglybuff up in her arms as the winner of their little game. At least, that had been her plan just prior to a trainer poking out of the grass suddenly nearby poised with a question “" What are you tracking here…?” he asked, nearly giving the girl a heart attack as she jumped up just as fast and turned around quickly to see one of the trainer’s from earlier. At the same time, she had one of her hands near one of the poke balls on her belt as she turned towards him, her eyes wide with a halt in her breathing. It took a few seconds to process but as soon as she got a good look at the guy, she exhaled loudly, dropping her guard a bit. ”Boy…you really know how to make a girl jump don’t you?” she said and then scratched the back of her head. The Igglybuff was sure to have heard that and probably moved or changed spots. "Oh well....I'm sure I'll find it. she thought as she turned back to the trainer, Max.

”Wellllllll…I don’t know if you’d call something like this tracking, if it was...well, never mind, I should be more alert to my surroundings anyway. Even in a game of Hide-and-seek you know? There was a wild Igglybuff around here that wanted to play and since I’m in no rush anyway, I decided why not? I don’t think its as fun if I have to be serious all the time on a pokemon journey” she said with a smile, folding her arms behind her head. She cocked her head a bit to the side and closed her eyes as if she was pondering something. mmm…” she muttered and jumped a tiny bit. ”Oh! How rude. Well. Actually…since you came to me, you would have been the one to…never mind. Anyway, names Sou. Sou Cleife. May I ask your name boy in the white hat?” she asked with a small smile.
