Zenith watched as Max's Ledyba evolved into Ledian. She was a little jealous at how lucky he was at the moment. If only some of my pokemon were stronger... she thought.

Max rushed over to Zenith, asking her, "How many pokemon do you have left. Lets do a quick count."

Zenith had been about to congratulate him, but quickly answered his question, "Tanya's knocked out, and Calder and Freefall are really weak," she said. She felt useless inside. How could she have let her pokemon take this much damage already? It was inexcusable. She felt like she was disappointing herself and her family.

Suddenly without warning, Aponi appeared out of her Poke Ball. Despite not truly having a face as a Metapod, her eyes seemed to burn with a fierce determination for some reason.

"Aponi? What in the world?" Zenith said, disbelief on her face as her pokemon appeared from her Poke Ball for seemingly no reason.

"Meta! Metapod!" Aponi said in a determined tone, looking up at Zenith. Suddenly, her body began to glow.

Zenith's eyes widened. "No way.... she's evolving..." she said.

Within moments, Aponi's form had changed from a cocoon to a large butterfly-like creature.

"Beefree!" Aponi said, floating in the air.

Zenith smiled widely at her newly-evolved Butterfree. "Aponi, were you so determined to help that you wanted to evolve?" she asked.

"Free!" Aponi said, nodding.

"Thanks, Aponi," Zenith said. She then turned to Max. "Looks like both of our pokemon evolved. Congrats on Ledian evolving."
