Altea noticed the familiarity Max seemed to say Misty's name, and wondered how they were acquainted. Oho~ And what was that look on his face? She was even more curious now, secretly imagining what kind of relationship they were in. She waited for the others to get their things while scanning the map for the shortest path to the city.

In a few moments they started down the mountain. Altea was still brimming with excitement at the thought of finally visiting Misty's famous water gym when they encountered a flock of Spearow flying just overhead.

"Ooh, wow!" Altea said, throwing out a pokeball. "Citrine, come on out!"

"Marreep!" it cried out, promptly joining her trainer and shaking her body slightly to let out a bit of static.

"Now's our chance, let's try a Thunder Wave!" She said, pointing to the Spearow.

Citrine gathered a charge and sent it toward them as they flew closer. One of them got caught in the attack and dropped from the sky, temporarily paralyzed.

"Lucky~ Now try a tackle!"

The Mareep charged at the Spearow who was attempting to get up, hitting it cleanly.

"Nice work Citrine!" Altea said, throwing a pokeball at the downed Spearow. "Go pokeball!"
