Altea dawdled around the base of the trees and watched in amazement as everyone seemed to climb up with ease. As they disappeared into the canopy one by one, she bit her lip and looked up, unsure where to start. As a girl raised near the ocean, kids her age typically spent their time one of two ways; either on or in the water. She could swim with the best of them, but the closest thing she got to hanging off a tree was probably playing on the tire swing in her backyard.

"Okay Altea, you can do this," she said in the most encouraging tone she could imagine, trying to motivate herself. She wasn't going to give up without a try!

Altea gathered her strength and jumped, somehow managing to grab on to the lowest branch. She latched her feet to the sides of the trunk and half expected to be able to swing up like the rest of the group. But turns out tree climbing was way harder than everyone made it look. It was all she could manage to hang on to the branch before her arms gave out. She dropped to the ground waiting only a few inches below.

"Haha Sou you're amazing," Altea answered, scratching her head. "This is harder than it looks!"

She thought about having Pidgeotto try to fly her up, but Copper wasn't exactly used to carrying people. Altea made a mental note to train him in that department. Although she felt slightly embarrassed to ask, Altea probably did need Ledian's help.

"If you wouldn't mind, Ledian..." Altea called out and waved to the Pokemon from below.
