"Arena… Tycoon?" Sloane muttered under her breath. Somewhere in her distant memory she could recall hearing that term before, but it wasn't one she was really familiar with. Scratching her head a little, she still bowed in respect to this… Greta woman. If Max felt she was important or at least worthy of a title then she must hold the upmost respect. Sloane straightened herself after a moment then looked at Max, not wanting to say or do anything that might be considered disrespectful to this woman of power.

Zenith followed the others, and they soon came to the village. A blond-haired woman with an entourage of several people then walked forward. Max mentioned her name as Greta, and that she was known as the Arena Tycoon in a place called the Battle Frontier. The woman must have been important.

Zenith wasn't too familiar with the terms, but this woman did seem to command respect. She bowed her head respectfully at the woman, but didn't say anything.

Sou looked at the woman as Max called her by the name of Greta, Arena Tycoon Greta being the long version of it. On top of that, he said she was from something called the Battle Frontier in Hoenn, which she could only assume was something perhaps tougher then a Gym Leader based on the rest of his description. ”Uh…um..oh! Its an honor to meet you miss Greta” she said, a small smile appearing on her face and bowed her head. She was honestly a bit nervous too, as it sounded and looked like she was a pretty important figure on top of being a really strong trainer. As Greta walked over, Sou relaxed a bit as they all greeted them and then called Max, by the name of Ruby. She had a confused look on her face as she looked in Max’s direction, but looked back over Greta as she spoke. ”ummm…I don’t mean to be…rude, but…the time child? and you called him Ruby?” she asked, scratching the back of her head. ”We knew he won a tournament somewhere I believe but….he introduced himself as Max.” she said glancing at Max then to this Greta person. Admittedly, she was curious about it herself, folding her arms back behind her head. ”I mean…unless thats all some kind of top secret stuff…?” she said with a slight chuckle.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Greta," Zenith said. She was confused as Greta referred to Max as the 'time child. She then turned to Max. "What does she mean by that, Max?"

Sou was confused by Greta referring to Max as Ruby, and decided to explain. "Max's real name is Ruby, but he prefers to be called Max, that's all."

Zenith then turned back to Greta. "Miss Greta, what exactly is an Arena Tycoon, and what is the Battle Frontier? I've never heard of those before."

"Its no secret that Ruby has a pretty interesting tail..If you believe in such things your friend here has been all over time..so much so they say that there are multiple versions of him. There is an on going joke that you could meet Max twice and he wouldnt know you.. Its really just a joke among people from back home. You see Ruby's dad was paired with the northern Celebii and his mom Ho-Oh. Really its a story for another time."

Sou rocked a bit side to side as Greta explained a couple of things about Max and that it could be possible to meet of two of them and one of them wouldn’t know you. It was a bit much to take about time-travel, the possibility of two Max’s, and about his parents. She wasn’t too sure what Celebi was, but she had a goo idea that Ho-Oh was a Legendary. Taking that into account, that would mean Celebi would also have to be a Legendary, it made more sense that way. She thought about it for a for just about a minute before she agreed. ”Sounds like it would be a long one and that other stuff might take a while to sink in.” she said with chuckle as she glanced at Max for a second before grinning a bit at that last part.

"Time… child? Does that mean like you travelled through time or something? And what's with the name Ruby? I'm so confused." Sloane rubbed her head a little as she listened to the others talk. Greta began to explain about the time child term meant and Zenith explained that Max preferred to be called Max even though his name was Ruby. Was it possible the Max she had seen long ago was actually a different Max than the one standing before her? "Ugh! Time paradoxes eh? Those are always fun to deal with." Sloane said. Then Ruby dropped the bomb about Celebi and Ho-oh. "Whoa whoa whoa! You've met a Celebi? Like the northern Celebi? You're not pulling my leg here right? You've met the northern Celebi? And wait your mom was paired with Lord Ho-oh? She'd have to have been a Kimono Girl then right?"

Zenith was surprised when Greta explained that Max's father had been friends with Celebi, and his mother Ho-Oh. Greta also said that Max had done quite a bit of time-traveling as a result, and therefore it was possible that there were multiple Max's roaming the timelines. She said it was possible they could meet a Max and he wouldn't know them.

"Wow, that's really something..." Zenith said, awe in her voice. "It'd be weird to come across another version of Max, though, don't you think, guys?" she asked, looking around at the others.

Max got a little red when everyone started talking about this.
"I prefer Max...Ruby doesnt feel right..I've met a couple of legends and captured a couple of legends and I dont think Time travels is that big of a deal..." he paused hearing about his mom.
" I think she was a Kimono Girl....but I never met her. She left when I was a baby.."

he looked at the others speaking out defensively.
"There are somethings about my past that dont add up. Some memories that I know are real but can't be proven. Messing with time is dangerous."

"Greta we came here hoping to find a electric type help us battle against the Cerulean Gym. Any chance you would be able to help us out." He said directly


Greta smiled.
"I hope you came more with your hand out Ruby. These pokemon here are protected pokemon. We do help train those interested but those only go to proven trainers. If you want to be considered you and your friends here are going to take on my team. Also I am Greta sorry for the poor introduction." She bowed at the girls and Ethan.
