The rest of the journey to Cerulean City had mostly been a quiet one. Everyone was probably preoccupied with their thoughts as Sou had been. The past was behind them at that point, but she couldn’t help thinking back to it every once in a while. The feelings that had stirred within her only just confirmed she was in no way clear of her fear. The village was a great distraction itself, along with the battles, but her mind drifted to Mt. Moon and the events there. She wondered what it stuck so hard in the back of her mind, frowning a bit as she walked, not a word escaping her lips. She glanced a bit to Zenith, but then back to the ground as she watched her footsteps move in what felt like slow motion. It felt like time had slowed down as she became increasing frustrated when a cool breeze hit the size of her face and she looked off in the direction it had come from. The group was quiet, however, along the path there were all kinds of sounds being made. The rustling of bushes, the tunes tweeted by bird pokemon in the distance, among other sounds. She smiled softly, reaching down to unclip Lyna’s poke ball from her belt. She held it her hand as she looked at the Kirlia looking back to her from inside of the ball and nodded.
Before she knew it, they had waltzed right into Cerulean City, making their way to the Pokemon Center. The Gym would be before them before long, so she had to be prepared for what could only be yet another exciting battle. It made her a bit excited in all honesty, as she recalled back to her battle with Brock. Boy, was that one intense! Once her pokemon was clear and their bikes dropped off, they made their way to they next destination, a smile on her face. As she walked in, she looked in awe at all the water pokemon and their trainer’s. It was almost the complete opposite of what the Pewter Gym looked like covered in dirt and rock. But that was to be expected of a water gym naturally. It was about then Max turned to them and wished them all good luck in their upcoming battle. ”Same to all of you!” she said with a smile, unclipping Ria’s poke ball from her belt and tossing it out in front of her, her Wartortle appearing in a flash of light by her side.
(( and now to go update my trainer card and pokebank...I'm so behind xD ))
