Sloane noticed something odd about Chaac's status and sent out the Luxio. Instantly he began to glow. The Luxio grew in shape, a mane forming, his tail lengthening, and his build growing. When the light dispersed, Chaac cried out. Sloane smiled and pet Chaac. "Chaac, you evolved!"

And then Sloane spotted Aithne, and any joy she had felt over Chaac's evolution dispersed.

Oh this girl was infuriating! Aithne had really learned to push Sloane's buttons over the years before she had been forced to leave. Sloane narrowed her eyes and leaned on her cane. Parashu whimpered from Sloane's shoulder, as if able to sense the fight about to break out.

"Who you calling a gentle spirit?" Sloane snapped back. "I've just fine out in the wild since I left the sanctuary. Even caught this little guy. And that wasn't even that long of time. What do you have to show for your time in exile? Still wearing your Kimono gear like a wannabe fan. Truly despicable. Even Lord Ho-oh would be embarrassed for you. Except, oh wait, he isn't, because you tarnished our good name with your violence." Sloane spit at Aithne's feet. "At least I'm still respected by them. You, on the other hand, don't have a shred of dignity left in the entire region of Johto. To be honest, I'm not even sure why I'm talking to you because you aren't even worth my time."
