The whole thing had been bizarre. I mean, it made sense, but it was just weird. Sloane had heard tales of the infamous scientist that was always turning himself into Pokemon so finding out he was the flygon made perfect sense. Finding out team rocket had done it also made sense. Max staring at Misty the entire was to Bill's made perfect sense and Sloane officially shipped the two like the Post Office. Things had made sense up until they started with this special eevee stuff. Special? Like a new eeveelution or an eevee that could turn into all its eeveelutions or what? Sloane knew it probably didn't concern her but she couldn't prevent her curiosity from being peaked at the sound of such an interesting piece of research and she wanted to know more. While Sloane was wondering all of this, the world around her seemed to stop. It was a completely out of this world sensation but as soon as Sloane wanted to explore, she passed out.

Sloane groaned as she awoke. She rubbed her head gently then looked around. Empty field. Empty field. Sloane's brain immediately went into panic mode as she realized there want anyone around her, until she spotted Max. Relief surged through her and the two decided to search for Sou and Zenith. However, there was no sign of them. Or anyone for that matter. Sloane had noticed that Max hadn't been feeling too well the entire time and while she had a pounding headache, it didn't seem to be as bad for her as Max. Especially when the man started screaming. Sloane jumped at the sound and he seemed to have a crazed look in his eye.

"Something is wrong… something is wrong!" he said. Sloane gave him a sad look and put her hand on his shoulder. "I've noticed," she said simply. Sloane's gaze swept over the landscape and she sighed. "There's no one anywhere near here, wherever here is." Sloane looked at the sky. "If it was night I could probably track the stars but no such luck there." Sloane looked at Max. "You okay though? You seem a bit… sick."
