Cassidy hissed at Alice's response.
"You have not been listening child!!! I didn't say fossils! The pokemon in the buried cavern are alive! That's right fools...alive. They are pure still. Not those creatures you people have mutated from rocks. Imagine what you could do with pure samples!" Cassidy laughed at King bashed in ground over and over until finally a hole started to form.

A grunt from the back of the group walked up and grabbed Alice.
"Shut up girl." The grunt said looking her in the eyes.

He winked at her. Lifting his head which had been hidden in the shadows as the team were more focused on the events. Max softly smiled before pulling back down over his hat and moving towards Rocky.

Meg didn't see the guys face but yelled at him as he walked away.
"Dont you dear touch her!"


"I got this one" He said disguising his voice.

He bent over grabbing the big guy by his collar.
"What are you stupid kid you want them to take your arms and legs." He said with a smile letting Rocky see him.

Max lifted up him up against the wall.
"Now youll have a better view of Team Rockets glory...shut up and appreciate this once in a life event." Max said

When the grunts turned back to Cassidy Max pulled out a paralyze heal pouring down his throat.
"This is going to taste bad.." He whispered. He dropped a second one in Rockys pocket for Rocky to help Brandon.

"Im going to create a distraction..When it happens make your move and get everyone out of here." He said quickly standing back up.



King continued finally creating a big enough hole for a wave of air that had been trapped for millions of years to shot out. Everyone covered their mouths. Everyone was silent for a moment. Cassidy held the flashlight pointing into the dark.
"Its glorious." She pulled out another pokeball.



The little Phanpy came out of its ball happy at first than sad when it noticed it still wasnt with its trainer.

"TUmble...you are going to be the first in." Cassidy laughed picking up the scared pokemon.


Max looked back Rocky for a moment then pushed forward through the group.
"Boss are you really going to let that pokemon steal your glory Max" Max called out still mixed in with the other grunts.


Cassidy paused.
"Who said that! What do you mean?"

Max stepped forward keeping his head down.
"I dont mean to talk out of turn..but you and Mr. Butch should be the first people in. Imagine that, you will make history! The first people to touch a living part of the past. Like man landing on the moon." He continued keeping his head down.

Butch walked over to Cassidy.
"What he is right! I Dont want a stupid phanpy to remembered as pioneer!" He looked at the grunt and a couple the others around him.
"Come here grunts...you guys are going to lower us in! Cassidy and I will take the glory and claim for Team Rocket!"

Max nodded and walked up to the group helping with them wrap the trainers up in rope.
"Let me hold on to the Crystal Amber. Just in case something happens to you. The boss would be p***ed." He said nervously trying to play it off.

She growled.
"Fine, but if there is even a single scratch.." She said handing it over.

Cassidy adjusted her rope and climbed down. As she got into place with Butch. She looked up at Max and paused finally seeing his face. Her eyes widened

" What defines us is how well we rise after the fall." Max wink letting the rope go. The grunt helping was pulled in.

Butch watched confused having no time to react before Max called out.

"Now Rotom!" He called out as the ghost type came through the floor stunning the grunts who then let Butch go and fell with them.

For a second there was some confusion. Max tossed off the hat with a big smile.
"Team Rocket! I present to your league champion."

Thats when all hell broke loose.

The little pokemon let out a confuse ray which was both clever and a huge miscalucation. As the Grunts called out pokemon to get Max. The massive Onix started to attack everyone. They were force to move quickly out of the way.
