Kyo walked with Meg as they returned the way the came in search of a Pokémon center. Kyo had no idea where one was since she was not very familiar with the Sevii Islands in general. She now cursed that lack of knowledge and looked at Meg. Did she have any idea where they were supposed to be going? Kyo hoped so. She needed to find a pokemon center soon.

"Any ideas about where the center will be?"

The group walked for a while through open grasslands as they searched for mega stones. Rose thought that if they were to come across one, she would be able to sense it. She wondered after a while if they were just looking in the wrong place. After a while they saw a Scizor that looked like Logan's off in the distance. After chasing it for a while, it led them to a forest, but they lost track of it.

As soon as they stepped into the forest, Rose sensed something odd. She heard a voice speak to her in her head. She was slightly taken off guard, but by now she was starting to get used to this kind of thing. "I think there is something this way." Rose said, starting to walk through the forest. She was unsure how to explain to the others exactly what she was sensing, so she left it at that. It seemed that as she followed the path, whatever she was sensing was getting closer. Something seemed to be giving off a lot of energy, and whatever it was, it seemed to want them to find it.

Soon the energy had led them to a campground. Logan was there using a laptop. "Hey look, you guys stuck around?" Logan greeted. Alice explained the situation.

"This might seem like an odd question, but... Do you have any strong psychic type Pokemon around?" Rose questioned, trying to find the source of the energy she was sensing.

Alice released her pidgeot, which the group seemed to think was needed, then Alice led them back toward where they had first encountered Logan. As they walked, Brandon noticed the silence and beauty of nature on the island. After a little while, his thoughts were interupted by Alice's Pidgeot returning. The bird pokemon circled a few times before landing and returning to her trainer. Brandon wondered if the bird had spotted anything, Brandon didn't think so, since the bird appeared to be calm and relaxed. Brandon was about to ask Alice though to be sure, but before he could, a humming sound could heard. The sound appeared to be getting louder by the second. Immediatelly Brandon's pokemon formed their defensive formation around him and prepared for a possible encounter. A couple seconds more and Brandon's pokemon's full attention was to the south of them. Brandon assumed that was where the sound was coming from. A few more seconds later they could see a scizor in the distance, presumably Logan's. If that were the case they would know where to look. As the Scizor flew past, the team began to follow it as best they could, but they lost it at the edge of the forest. Brandon was about to try and organize a search of the area around the forest to try to find a path through, when suddenly Rose started walking away from them and further into the forest. Alice tried calling to her but when they got no response theu just decided to follow her. As they began to move further into the forest, Brandon instructed his pokemon to keep a sharp out for anything out of place of suspicious and to alert him to even the smallest of oddities. He had a bad feeling about what was happening to Rose, she was acting weird. Was she being hypnotised by some wild pokemon? Brandon didn't want to take any chances. A few moments later though they came out to what appeared to be a makeshift camp. Here they found Logan on a laptop. Brandon was glad they had found Logan and knew then they should alright. He told his pokemon they could stand down a bit. They did relax a bit, but remained viligant to the sorrounding area as they always were and remained their defensive formation not willing to take any chances in this unfamilar forest. Alice and Rose began to converse with Logan, while they did so, Brandon took his pack off, took out a bottle of water and took a long sip, then put it back. That walk had made him a bit thirsty. Then he put the pack back on and continued to listen to the conversation quietly.

Alice, Rose, Rocky , Brandon and Logan headed back into the wilderness to discover more about Mega Evolution. After reaching Logans camp site he gave each team member a different location to search for that might help them discover there own Mega Stone. The process wasnt fool proof.

Logan climbed up a near by tree to adjust his antenna as he made his way back down he moved to his laptop and scanned the area.
" The technology is a little limited but if you have a certain pokemon you are looking to scan for we might just be able to find a mega stone." Logan said

As each person stepped forward Rocky, Brandon and Rose were able to show the pokemon pals they wanted. Logan was able to find an energy pattern that matched each of them. 4 Island had been a treasure trove for Mega Stones.

Rocky let Rose go first. Logan scanned Rose's pokemon. When it came to Kirlia he got a match. Logan smiled. @Dragon Master Mike
" It looks like there might be a Gardevorite or Galladite in the eastern forest. Ive been out that way and its mostly jungle so you might need to be prepared with a pokemon that can cut through the vines. "

Brandon steppe up next already with his two partners out. It didnt take long for Logan to pick up traces of Swampertite.
" That was pretty easy. There should be a Swampertite near by. " Logan said pointing out a small path of land off the eastern shore. @brandon_g

When Rocky's turn came he walked up to Logan who stood up. Logan looked at the trainer.
"Jeez what did your parents feed you. Youre the size of Golisopod back home." Logan joked

" Im a fan of a good tussle so if you ever want a sparring partner let me know. I could use a proper challenge." Logan joked.

After a quick scan of the pokemon Lairon that Rocky presented Logan found the large north eastern caverns were radiated its energy.
"Looks like you'll need to head up north."

Logan pointed at the screen.

"Here"

When it came to Alice, Logan scratched his head because she didnt present a pokemon to scan.
" Unfortunately none of your current pokemon have mega stones near by. So we are going to need to be creative." He smiled

He pointed out southern tip of the island.
"Seems as if you there is a great source of energy coming from one of the caves located on the coast. Im not sure what mega stone might be there but Im sure if you check out the cave you will find something interesting."

"Before you all go, do you mind if I update your Poketechs with maps I have on my lappy. This should help you find the exact locations they should be. Sadly the maps can tell you about cave systems or things you might have to climb but a general area should be enough for any explorer."

Meanwhile

Kyo and Meghan headed for the pokemon center. As they way walked brick streets on the nice summer evening they took time to just relax. In one of the rare moments on this mission they were finally able to speak openly about things other than the nightmares they were living.

" I think you are really brave." Meghan said bumping shoulders with Kyo.

" To jump into all of this and continue moving forward after all that you have seen is pretty amazing." Meghan said looking Kyo in the eyes.

She moved in and slowly grabbed her hand.
" No matter what happens, you have me." she said holding onto her hand for a few moments before slowly letting go.

After a little while they reached the Pokemon Center but noticed some sort of commotion. There peaceful moment was over and the two quickly picked up the pace. As they reached the Pokemon Center they noticed a sea of white uniforms.

"The white rockets?" Meghan said as they rushed over.

There in front of the center four of the White Rockets appeared pulling out a couple of trainers out in hand cuffs.

"No point in resisting, we mean you no harm but you are wanted on the main land." The captain of the team said.

One of the other grunts walked up handing out stack of flyers which had pictures of what looked to be Blue Team.

As Meghan noticed the flyers she quickly dropped back as she was still out of sight to them.
" Maybe its best you find out whats going on. Ill find a change of clothes and meet you at the eastern gate of the city in an hour." She said

Kyo continued until she reached the grunts. The leader stepped forward.

" A fellow White Rocket? Non regulation uniform? Identify yourself solider." Admin Juliet said firmly

(Okay guys now is the fun part. You are going to find your mega stones!!! For those of you searching the island the story is all up to you. Please add something interesting since this should present a real tough challenge to your character. For Kyo your mission will be to find out who the criminals are and have them reveal through some form of interrogation where the stolen merchandise is. Once you have that in your story you have have her presented with both the mega pokemon and the mega stone as a gift before meeting back up with meghan. @Brettles leave your story open ended if you can and it would be awesome if you went deep into the cave. I want to add something to your story so if you could cut it short of actually picking up or claiming the stone that would be great. If you have any questions please let me know. Otherwise Im glad to be back!)

Rocky's Journey to the caves
Rocky tried to figure out what a Golisopod was, and whether or not he should be insulted. "I guess I am heading north. I'll see the rest you people here later."

He looked at the upgrade he had been given on his Poketech. It showed him where he had to go and even a basic map of where to find the cave system. It looked like quite a hike.

"Come on team lets get walking", he said to his Pokemon.

Rusty gave a cheer and walked beside Rocky, happy to spend time with her trainer.

Fury let out a road and flapped his wings. "Char! Charizard!" he roared.

"I suppose we could try to fly. But I am not exactly light, Fury! Are you sure you want to try?"

"Charizard!" siad Fury in a slightly offended voice as he leaned down to allow Rocky to climb on his back.

Rocky was unsure about this, Fury was small for a Charizard and he was rather large. He called back all of the other Pokemon and climbed on Fury's back.

Fury took to the sky with Rocky holding on tight. Straight away Rocky could sense the strain that was shooting through Fury. They only made it about 500 meters before Rocky commanded Fury to land.

The Poor Charizard was panting and heaving with every breath.

"No more trying to carry me until you build up those wing muscles, Fury! We will walk for now." Rocky decided.
Fury looked crestfallen, but nodded his agreement.

Rocky let the other Pokemon out again. Speedy and Flash Flood climbed up onto Fury's shoulders and laughed with glee as Fury gave them a ride through the sky.

Behemoth and Rusty walked along by Rocky's side, Angel jumped up and fell asleep on Behemoth's head.

The hike took just over two hours, mostly uneventful, except for when Seedy decided to try jumping off Fury's shoulders and landing in one of Behemoth's sand-holes. The cry of "Rattataaaaa..." as Behemoth shot a stream of sand, and Speedy, flying into the distance, was replaced by Speedy racing back and dancing around Behemoth. "Rattata, Rat Rat Rat!" "No Speedy, we can't do that again!" Rocky had replied, and Speedy had sulked for a few seconds before he noticed the pretty flowers and got distracted again.

Once they arrived at the caves Rocky called Behemoth back to his ball, the rest of his pokemon spread out around him as he entered the dark cave. Fury flared his tail fire to give some light. Strange primitive paintings spread out across the walls. Rocky investigated them and interpreted them to be telling the story of a great weedle purge, where all weedles had been wiped out from the region. "Ah that makes sense!" he said to himself.

A noise sounded from down a side passage. "Lairon!" cried Rusty as she ran down towards the noise.

"Wait for us, Rusty!" Rocky called out,a nd Rusty obediently slowed down to let the others catch up, but still led the group down the passageway.

Rusty led them into a chamber with a stone nest. Inside the stone nest was a Lairon who was crying and trying to comfirt 3 tiny Arons. Inside the nest were 4 empty broken egg-shells. One of the Arons was missing.

Rusty and the cring Lairon had a quick conversation and then Rusty walked back to Rocky. "Lairon! Lair Lair, Lairon! Ron!" she said earnestly.

"Of coursewe will help find her missing baby!" Rocky said. "Which way did she say it was?"

"Lairon! Lair! Ron Ron!" said Rusty leading Rocky down a darkened passageway. Rocky;s other Pokemon followed him. Except for Speedy who stayed to play Peek-a-boo with the baby Arons.

Rocky's Team stayed close by as they checked out the area the whole team converged at the same place. A narrow dark path leading underground. With Fury help he was able to get a better picture of what laid ahead of him. He looked at what was essentially a big hole in the ground which lead deeper into the cave and decided to at least explore it. However the tight opening and chance for falling rocks made him cautiously call back all of his pokemon but Rusty and Speedy. Rusty could fit through fine enough but as Rocky would find being over 250 did not make the decent into the cave any easier. The bulky little rock steel type was adapt at this kind of movement and narrated the winding path with relative ease. Once they climbed down they found the sub level was a little bit more cramped. A steady stream of dripping what made it hard for Rocky to call out his fire types.

Rocky pulled out his flashlight to look around. As he did a cold chill swept through the cave.

All around him were kakunas suspended. Maybe this was finally his chance to catch a member of the beedrill family. However any loud noises could cause a chain reaction that might cause all the Kakuan to evolve out of spite. In such a dangerous space and with bad memories of beedrill still floating around in his head he didnt have much of a choice. Instead Rusty nudged him and the light to the far end of the room where he noticed a shire of some kind. As he got closer to it he noticed the mega aggron drawings faded away around the shrine.

As he got closer he noticed the round shiny stone. Its grey dim reflective light shining in his eyes.

Before he could reach it however something small poked its head up out of the vines that were wrapped around the shrine.

The angry little pokemon let out a hiss and set a sting shot covering Rocky and his pokemon in the sticky gunk. Then as if to flip off the trainer the little pokemon head butted the mega stone. Rocky watched as the Aggronite rolled to the edge and fell off. The sound it caused hitting the ground echoed through the small passage. All around him the Kakuna started to shake. On end he saw the Aggronite rolling on the other the weedle escaping. He could only pick one.

Kyo walked in silence with Meghan as they departed from the others and made their way towards the Pokemon Center in town. She was rehearsing what she would say to her superiors in her head when Meghan suddenly spoke up.

" I think you are really brave." Meghan said bumping shoulders with Kyo. Kyo looked over at Meghan and raised her eyebrows, giving her friend a curious look.

" To jump into all of this and continue moving forward after all that you have seen is pretty amazing." Meghan said looking Kyo in the eyes. Kyo suddenly felt herself becoming a bit nervous and laughed a little to attempt to diffuse the energy. No such luck.

“I appreciate it. I just learned many years ago that unless you physically cannot continue, you should not let anything stop you from moving on. Though I am beginning to wonder if my emotional baggage will eventually break my back,” she admitted. Kyo looked down as she felt Meghan take her hand.

" No matter what happens, you have me." she said holding onto Kyo’s hand for a few moments before slowly letting go. Kyo felt a part of her desperately wanting to hold on to Meghan’s hand, but instead let her fingers slip from Kyo’s and continue on in silence.

As they reached the Pokemon Center, Kyo took notice of a large group of White Rockets. She stiffened a little, not prepared to confront them like this. Kyo had been rehearsing for a phone call, not a conversation with an admin. Well at the very least she would have Meghan to help back her up. Or so she thought.

" Maybe its best you find out what’s going on. I'll find a change of clothes and meet you at the eastern gate of the city in an hour," Meghan suddenly said. Before Kyo could protest, Meghan was off. Kyo felt some of the wind leave her sails and sighed loudly in frustration. Oh well! Kyo took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself before approaching the grunts. The leader stepped forward to greet Kyo, a woman that Kyo recognized as Admin Juliet.

“Second Lieutenant Writer reporting in from my undercover infiltration of the Red R base outside of Vermillion.” Kyo paused a moment then added, “It is… quite the long story, Admin Juliet, as to how I got here though. I would be happy to write it all up in a report, but for now I think it appears we have a more pressing matter at hand. If I may ask, what is the situation? I may be able to provide some aid in the handling of the criminals.”

Logan began to explain to the group where they could find mega stones nearby. He told Rose first that her mega stone would be somewhere in the forest to the east. That wasn't much to go on. Unless the stone gave off some kind of energy that she could sense, it would be difficult to find. Still, she had to try. Logan uploaded maps to everyone's poketechs. "The maps can't tell you about cave systems or things you might have to climb but a general area should be enough for any explorer."

"I wouldn't exactly consider myself an explorer." Rose thought. She wasn't thrilled about going off on her own to explore a jungle, but she couldn't exactly ask anyone to go with her. They had their own mega stones to look for. "At least I have you with me." She said to her partner as they set off down a path leading east. She followed the path for about an hour before it began to curve towards the south.

She pulled out her poketech. It was at this point that it occurred to her that she wouldn't be able to read the map that Logan gave to her. After trying a few different voice commands, she was able to get her poketech to pull it up, but it still didn't do her much good. At this point all she could do was continue heading east and hope for the best. She stepped off the trail into woods that only become more and more dense as she moved. Soon the brush was so thick it made it difficult to walk or sense her surroundings. "Sheen." She said, releasing the sword Pokemon. "Can you help me cut through this?"

The doublade was able to slice through the brush in front of her in a single swipe. "Thank you." Rose said. "We need to keep going this way, so can you cut a path through?" She continued on like this for another half hour with Doublade cutting through the brush. Soon she noticed a dip in the land up ahead. As she got closer, she could sense it was about a six foot drop at around a 45 degree angle. She approached the edge of the dip and carefully began to look for the best way to climb down. She sensed some trees and vines she could hold onto for support.

She took a step forward and her foot got caught on something, causing her to fall forward and tumble down the slope. It was not a particularly long fall, but enough to scrape up her arms and legs. At the bottom, she laid still for a moment as Amirah and Sheen rushed down to check on her. "I'm okay..." She said quietly as she dragged herself to her feet. The cuts stung, but it was nothing she couldn't handle.

Just ahead was a shallow stream. Rose decided to follow it north, partially because the forest wasn't so thick along it, and partially because she wanted to avoid having to cross it and getting wet if possible. After another 15 minutes, Something caught her attention. A small spherical stone was mixed in with the rocks on the opposite side of the stream. She would not have even noticed it if it had not been giving off a tiny bit of energy. She found a shallow area and crossed the stream there to investigate.

Picking it up, it felt much smoother than any of the other nearby rocks. She had no idea if it was a mega stone, but no ordinary stone would have given off energy like it was. She checked the time on her Poketech to find that she had been out much longer than she thought. To make things worse, she had no idea how to get back. She followed the stream back south, but couldn't find the way she had gotten to it from. After walking back and forth for about 20 minutes, she decided to just cut a new path west and try to find her way back.

Admin Juliet said waving the grunts to take the two prisoners to a small office building located just off the man strip of stores.

As Kyo followed along one of the other grunts in the group caught up to her.
" Were you out here tracking pokemon smugglers? Cause the file on this island didnt say much of anything. These two were caught with exotic pokemon..real strange looking pokemon if you ask me." The grunt said gossiping

The taller boy grunt turned back and sneared

"Would you shuddup Mike!" he growled

" Youll be debriefed "if" you are cleared grunt." The boy said turning back around pulling the handcuffs a little tighter.

The boy then picked up the pace. Kyo and Mike fell back slightly.

"Dont mind him. We've been stuck on One Island helping with the clean up and relocation of pokemon."

The continued walking until the reached the officer building where Kyo would have a chance to debrief the admin.

Rose collected the smooth stone and carefully packed it before heading back. As she cleared the thick forest she got a little lost and wondered around the surrounding area before picking a new path. As she moved west away from the stream she felt a pokemon close by following her. The curious pokemon stayed back a little distance watching to see what she was up to. Rose could feel that it was a psychic pokemon of some type but this wasnt a very powerful psychic pokemon. It was still young.

Around 7:30 Rose and her pokemon reached the mid point of the island from there she had a clear path back to where the team had been talking to Logan. Before she headed back her attention was moved back towards the pokemon. This time however she felt some fear coming from the pokemon.

"Kay!" The pokemon called out
