[Rogue]: Go back to the previous room.

The Rogue returns to the previous room, only to be greeted by a SAND DEVIL! Dun duuuuh!

The Rogue (level 4) vs. Sand Devil (level 3)

Strange… It seems that the Rogue doesn't use spells like the Mage, but he uses skills.

Obviously, this is just magic for the inept. Instead of mana, this uses skill points. However, as these are basically one in the same, you might as well call it mana.

The Rogue hacks and slashes, dealing a nice amount of damage for such a simple attack.

Sand Devil HP: 45 / 80

The Sand Devil uses skill: SANDSTONE! The Sand Devil solidifies itself, buffing its defense! Looks like this won't be a two-turn battle…

By the way, just to clear the air:

Skills and Spells are basically the same thing. Some characters use skills, while others use spells. What's the difference, however, you may ask? It's quite simple. Spells are a bit more useful, as they can be used outside of battle, but you are limited in the amount of spells you can use at a time. Skills, on the other hand, are quite versatile; however, they are limited to battle and battle alone. Everyone has skills, even our little Mage… They just need to be unlocked by leveling.

Also, one more thing: Skills and Spells draw from a similar energy pool, so be sure to mediate your use of spells and skills.

The Rogue's Skills
• Silent Slash: Sneak up on the opponent and attack. Fairly weak, but it never misses. Costs 5 skill points.
• Invisibility: Use the Holo-Suit to become invisible. Guarantees that enemy attacks miss for one turn. Costs 3 skill points.
