Being what it is, it could be more like a challenge mode if a set team was in mind. It might not even be one they earned in the games: Markus'es and Gold's choice of Legends would imply they caught everything in Johto and Kanto (respectively), bar none, so if there's any game play and story intergration...Not like we really finished either, too.

We could have set teams for the occasion, with nothing to do with the teams our trainers have.
