Awesome thanks for pointing that out !! it helps out. Now the battles are perfectly even. Also guys i have a new side quest going butt this isnt a normal one. This is test side quest for three new members. Im going to slow introduce them to the game and then have them catch up at the gym!

If you were the NPC the last time around, you are not the NPC this time around. Just post the battle in your thread if you are not the NPC! if you are new, you will be the npc. Ill cover the NPCs for you guys, just request the battle ! and ill post it.

no, since gcea doesnt use abilities. Just goes by types.

Hey everyone just updating you guys that a couple of things going on.

There will a how to battle thread created in it you will be able to find just about every battle. Along with that the front page will get some much needed updates.

I will be opening up a discussion on the possible creation of a GCEA Emerald for new all the new members. Id like your thoughts. The reason im considering it is because at this point people are getting left behind. Adding more members could make it hard for people to keep up.


*I am working on a story event for starters. Basically it will be a short story with a deadline, if the story meets certain requirements you will be able to unlock one of the starters.

*Next weekend we will have two double point days !

Well it would be for the newest people joining. Thoughts on the start story contest ? Im guessing youll be up for it if any starter can be obtained.

On Emerald: Not until there's a second GM, at least, as I've stated previously. I'd prefer no outright, mainly because I think the symmetry between teams as it stands is fine as it is. The two teams have 'niches' that they fill and villains they specifically target: Who would Emerald be, lacking the brute-force of Ruby or the stealth of Sapphire? Who would Emerald Target, lacking either Magma or Aqua to fight against?

I think the need for Emerald will die down in your eyes once a new GM comes and picks up the slack for you in one of the threads, Savvy?

On the story-writing thing: That sounds fine by me. :D
