I've just been busy with yard work and dealing with the very resistant CyberPower support to try and get a refund. While I've got confirmation and the email for it....they told me to email any dispute to their dispute email and I'd hear back in 24 hrs. It's been since Thursday last week. Even called back yesterday and told them what email address I sent it from, how long it's been since I sent it, and they told me they'd have someone look into it and get back to me soon. Welp....it's been more than 24 hrs....again. Just gonna send it tmr and deal with them on the phone again tomorrow I guess

Eh, that sucks. Strange, I brought from CyberPower a few years back and had no issues. This has probably been my best computer ever.

A friend of mine did as well and said the same thing. I guess it's changed a lot in those few years because they aren't being very helpful and 2 of the most important parts to my comp just aren't working right (audio and microphone). So a full refund is better. That way I just get my money back and save it for another day.

Yeah, when it comes to shopping, I hate having to return stuff because it doesn't work or doesn't do what it's supposed to. It's even worse when you've brought it online and then you have to box it all up again and ship it back. And if you got it custom-made, ouch, good luck trying to return that. Usually they don't take it back.

I think one of the most annoying things to shop for online is clothing. I usually wear XL size shirts, but that's just a general size, and I've had times where one retailer's idea of an XL shirt is different from another's. Pants are also a pain, but if you at least know the waistline and the length, you're generally ok.

But yeah, electronics that don't work that came with a mind-numbing amount of Styrofoam puzzle pieces to try and figure out how it was packed in the first place is a headache when it comes to returns.

Well they have a 30 return policy (or in this case it's extended since I sent it back to them so they can try to fix it a week after I got it originally). So I contacted them again once I got it back. I just tested it and found all the same issues. Luckily they activated the refund and it is on its way back now so it's no longer my problem....unless they refuse a refund....but let's hope it doesn't get to that point.

Yeah electronics are hard to repackage. Especially if you're missing even one piece of the original boxing.
