came out a bit more detailed than I originally thought, but here's s short/long character entry.

Name: Brian Evans
Age: 21
Gender: Male

Appearance: A young man, an artist, who honestly looks younger than he actually is. Wears a solid purple shirt with an orange scarf he carries with him to wear if it ever got too cold. He's 5'4", light skinned, but you can tell he gets a lot of sun from time to time. He has moderately short hair, mostly likes it to lay down flat. Carries a backpack with all his supplies. He carries around extra clothing because when he goes out, it's usually for days at a time.

He tries to stay active, but with his line of work he barely gets time other than the walk or climbs he makes to get the best view he can of any area or Pokemon. Prefers when taking trips to wear long pants in a darker, more navy blue shade. He also carries a watch with him. His watch is also his calendar, which mean it's also his only way of telling what day it is, time; basically his only way of keeping track of time at best. If he loses it, it becomes much harder for him to tell how long he's been out or how long he's been at this location. He does, however, have on his watch a way of telling directions (not with a compass) and contacting people, but they can't contact him. However, since becoming trapped here the "contact" function has stopped working correctly, at least that's what he believes since there's no sound from it anymore.

Current Sate: Still a human. Brian is still keeping his sense about him, but the way his rations are going, he and his Pokemon might not be able to hold off eating or drinking from this area much longer. Seeing Pokemon able to actually talk at first freaked him out, but in this new world he's started to get used to seeing and hearing it. Though, Brian still suffers from nightmares from what happened one year ago. Sometimes, it effects his judgments, and causes him to react out of emotions rather than logic or ration.

Personality: Brian has always tried to keep an easy-going kind of attitude towards most things. When others wanted help, he's always wanting to do what he can to help, but sometimes that's what causes him to lose his way. Other than his art sketches Brian has always loved puzzles or complex things to solve. Sure it would take him a lot of time, but he's always enjoyed the thrill of it. When it comes to being somewhere or finding the perfect spot, usually Brian gets lucky. He always happens to find the, what he calls, "the perfect spot." Usually it's followed by perfect timing where as he seen as many great sites as an artist can hope and dream to see and sketch. Again his judgments are sometimes effected, meaning even his attitude toward certain things may suddenly change depending on what his mental state may be like at the time.

Brian hates being picked on. He grew up with that and now he sometimes has rash ways of dealing with it. If he ignores them, it only further burdens him later on. Sometimes, he just wishes he had the power to stand up to them, much like his Pokemon, but his Pokemon are his only friend currently with him. All of his other human friends have all gone off on adventures as trainers and now somewhere in Kanto. They all preferred to travel with each other. Brian doesn't have anything, but the best of feelings for his friends success.

History: Brian used to be a trainer in Johto. His first Pokemon ever was his Pikachu. Normally a trainer would get their first Pokemon from the region's Professor. Brian, however, got his from his family. For his birthday when he turned 10, his parents gave him a Pikachu. They used to have fun battling with their friends at school and going on random adventures with each other in the forest near their house. One day Brian took his Pikachu and his best friend to the forest. Together they made it further than Brian and his Pikachu ever made it. They ended up finding a clearing, which was a rather large field. Suddenly they heard cries, cries from a Pokemon, an Eevee. Not knowing what to do Brian's Pikachu suddenly jumped down from his shoulder telling him something in pika-speak, then runs off into the forest. Brian and his friend both look at each other confused, assuming it said it will be right back. Brian tries comforting the Eevee while looking over it's wounds. They weren't too deep, it only looked like scratches, but this Eevee looked very young. Had it's parents abandoned it? Not even 5 minutes later Brian's Pikachu runs back. It runs up to then hurt Eevee and hands it gently a few Oran berries. Timid at first, the Eevee nibbles on one of the berries and it's tears stop. It slowly stands up and eats the berries. After some time of looking after it, wondering if it's parents are coming back. They decide to leave as it was getting late. Looking back at the Eevee as they told it good-bye the image is still stuck in Brian's mind of a beautiful sunset behind the trees as they look back at a confused Eevee, that suddenly perks up and gives back a radiant smile. This image is one of the few things that directly inspired Brian to become the artist he is today. After arriving at home, after saying bye to his friend, Brian hears rustling in the bushes before he gets back inside. Suddenly, a small-bushy tail pops out. Then it's head. it was the Eevee they found earlier. Apparently it followed him back home. After some thought...oh who am I kidding, it wasn't even a thought! Brian just KNEW he had to keep this Eevee. Together, he thought Pikachu and Eevee were going to be the best partners a trainer could ask for....until.

Years later, he's lost Pokemon (whether it was from a thief that stole them or whether the Pokemon defended him and died). Most recently, his Pikachu died. Brian had his Pikachu and Eevee with him that he had always carried with him from the start of his journeys, but while he was sketching a wild Leafeon in a forest one day "it" happened. Somewhere he started hearing crying, which to him sounded like the cries of another Pokemon. Knowing the layout of forests now, thanks to his Pokemon, research and journeys, Brian now knows layouts of forest much better than he used to. He found an Oran berry bush and Pecha berry as well, just in case. After rushing there to where they heard the cries. No one was there, but unbeknownst to Brian, his Pikachu heard exactly where it was. The sound that Brian had ignored above them. Someone had hid themselves really well in a tree and pounces on Brian. He's talked to the ground throwing Pikachu off of him. Brian had suddenly found himself fighting for his life on the ground with a blade pointed towards him. Refusing to meet the armed guy's demands, the mysterious guy suddenly prepares his arm to hit Brian. Brian feared the worst in his already weakened state. He couldn't reach his bag to pull out Eevee and Pikachu was thrown off somewhere. He closed his eyes fearing the incoming thrust from the guys blade, but....suddenly the pressure forcing his body down had been lifted, but he still couldn't move. Had he been paralyzed? No..this was different, maybe just paralyzed with fear. He was able to force open his eyes, but only to see one large bolt of lightning come down and 2 screams. Brian blacked out after that. Later, Brian felt shakes, no...nudges on his sides. Grunting, but not up yet he suddenly feels a lick on his face which makes Brian jump up. Alert now after remembering what had happened he was worried. What had happened...he remembers being attacked, but after that-. Suddenly it hit him, to him it was as if time itself has stopped. Looking over to where he saw the lightning before he passed out Brian sees only one large crater with scorches around where it landed and a large charred object, which was most likely the guy that attacked them. Then, after looking around Brian had remember being licked. Looking to his side he saw his Eevee. He wondered how she got out of her Pokeball, but he was horrified to look by his backpack. His Pikachu, lay there in front of his bag. Not moving and laying there, lifeless. These memories still haunt Brian even today as his Pikachu was one of his best friends. It's been one full year now to the exact day that the story takes place.

2 days ago Brian had his Eevee with him walking looking for something to sketch and had already prepared for at least a week long trip. Somehow, finding this place was some of the worst luck Brian and Eevee had gotten themselves into in at least a year. They both figured a new region was just the change in pace they needed. Were they right?

Pokemon: 1 (an eevee -just named Eevee) He always was bad with nicknaming Pokemon. So he just decided to leave it as "Eevee."

Entrapment Length: 2, almost 3 days now.

Other: Because of his skills as an artist, this allows Brian to remember things he sees or notice things a little easier than some people, even the smaller details such as: sights, sounds, or smells of the areas he's been. The memories of what happened are still haunting Brian and sometimes causes nightmares.
