Lol well it's funny. I know some people joke around that specific post count all the time. So to avoid it myself ice always had a post at the ready right after to increase the value.
Not really superstitious that often or when it comes to post count. It's pretty funny to play around with though it make jokes at.
Some other things depend on situations.
The time is upon us...

Relax, I think studies have shown that the devil's number is actually 616 or something like that.
Everyone has a dream that fills their heart. A journey they must take. A destiny to fulfill. As close as your imagination exists a magical place, where wondrous creatures with incredible powers help make dreams come true. It's the world of Pokemon!!"
I have opened umbrellas indoors and I've smashed mirrors. Haven't noticed any changes.
On the flip side, I did find a four leaf clover not once but twice! And it didn't do anything. They're just very rare and that's about it.
So yeah, the superstitious stuff is just silly.
I'm not superstitious, but I love superstition. I'm big into science, mythology, and religion (I would actually like to be able to study as much of them as possible, but it's kinda difficult to do all three) because they all seem to be related in some way. For instance, Zombies are scientifically proven (though not in the way we think of) and the explanation is from voodoo, which is connected to certain religion. So, Zombies are a link between religion, myth, and science.
Opening an umbrella inside was a sign of disrespect to the sun god since they were originally used on sunny days. Walking under a ladder was bad luck because you were disrupting the holy shape of the triangle, and I don't remember the origin of the mirror.
I'm not superstitious at all. In fact, I love little black kitties <3 (there's one that lives near my house!)
Of course that doesn't mean it's not real or anything. I consider it the same as luck in that I don't particularly believe in that either. I think luck is something you make all on your own, and the same goes with superstition.
Yeah. Like I said, I'm very interested in that stuff XD
Also, I looked up the broken mirror one. Here's what I found for it.
"The origin of the "break a mirror, face seven years of bad luck" superstition can be traced back to the Romans, who were the first to create glass mirrors. Just because your culture invents something totally useful like a mirror doesn't mean you can't still have some irrational beliefs about its use. The Romans, along with the Greek, Chinese, African and Indian cultures, believed that a mirror had the power to confiscate part of the user's soul. If the user's reflected image became distorted in any way, this could mean a corruption of his or her soul."
And the superstition about black cats varies from place to place and per time period. Some of this I knew already, and some I just looked up. Ancient Egyptians worshipped cats in general, but especially black ones. In Scotland a black cat’s appearance at a home signifies prosperity. Pirates believed if a black cat walks towards you, it’s a sign of bad luck, but it’s good luck if it walks away from you. And in the English Midlands, a black cat as a wedding present is thought to bring good luck to the bride. And the big one about a black cat crossing your path started with the Salem Witch Trials when people began believing that witches could turn into black cats.
As for luck, it's random, but some people are naturally luckier than others.
XD No, that means that you need to make sure that you do not appear in the mirror as you smash it or after it's broken. Right? And, yeah, very true.
