The smell of energy drinks makes me sick. 3:
I like anything salted caramel related. Or twix, kinder bueno and ferrero rocher. <3
Yeah at first energy drink have a strong smell and taste. At least it helps get enough caffeine to get through something at times.
Actually recently my sister went to a store and saw a new drink she wanted to try (this store imports a lot of food and drinks from around the world). It was Bundaberg (non-alcoholic) Root Beer. It's a Root Beer made by a family owned business in Australia. Honestly it tasted like medicine at first, but it's pretty good after the first taste.
Oh I almost forgot 3 Musketeers are pretty good and chocolate raisins (only a particular type). Surprisingly they are pretty good. Most things chocolate I like to cool down in the refrigerator beforehand now. Cooled chocolate is actually much better to me
EDIT: that stands to bring out a good question though. Has anyone tried any foreign candies or drinks they found to really like?

So I have a chocolate allergy so I actually can't eat many candies that my friends enjoy. I actually have a ton of chocolate at home because I'm also too shy to tell people I can't eat the chocolate when they give it to me. (My parents are totally okay with that though. they love chocolate.) As a result, my favorite candies are fairly… unpopular but also somewhat popular. Take notes boys, if you want to get me a gift on Valentine's Day, here's the candies to go for:
Twizzlers. I swear this is like my kryptonite and I will do anything for this red licorice treat. For whatever reason only one movie theater in my area actually sells these (most sell red vines instead which are disgusting). But either way I always sneak these things into the movies because they're so good! They're so sweet and chewey and delicious!
Smarties. I've loved these since I was a kid and I can't tell you why other than they're sweet and a great hard candy that can be made soft by sucking on them.
Dum-Dums. They're lollipops or suckers for those who aren't aware. I don't like all the flavors but the bubble gum and blue raspberry flavors are the best. My teachers who know of my allergy always go out of there way to get me these so they're really special to me.
Candy corn. I may have a problem with these since my parents always get the jumbo bags before Halloween and I usually consume an entire bag by myself in a week. And the pumpkin shaped ones always disappear from one of my mom's coworker's desk.
TAFFY. There's a taffy shop near my mom's work and this is another one of those candies that I might have a problem because I consume bags of these way faster than I probably should. Vanilla and cherry taffy flavors are the best.
I subscribe to TokyoTreat, which gives you lots of Japanesejunk foodcandies and snacks that are unique, can't be found around the state, and are usually pretty good and interesting. And quite a bit of the stuff has Pokémon on it. I think the only thing I didn't like were the wasabi pretzel sticks. Hooolllly crap, were those strong.
I don't understand why candy corn has to be exclusive to Halloween. But yeah, it's great and those pumpkin ones are disgustingly addictive.
yeah it's odd they only sell candy corn during that time. Then again the same goes for Cordials. Those mini cakes with that cherry/strawberry looking/tasting is too good to only be sold in Christmas and Valentines.
Actually I've tried JapanCrate. How does TokyoTreat differ I wonder?
Ah that's too bad. The one here in town sells them as well I believe. Those stores that require a card to get in can be frustrating. At least my parents have one as well while don't.
Actually my work sells licorice candy (not Twizzlers per say), but it's Hawaiian Punch flavor and Dr. Pepper flavor.

I just checked out JapanCrate's website. I'd say they're pretty identical, though I read a review that says JapanCrate's selection of snacks isn't quite as good as ToykoTreat's. The subscription prices are pretty similar, though, give or take a few bucks. Skoshbox is another one that has the same kind of setup, but generally it's the same kind of stuff. Meanwhile, TokyoTreat has free international shipping, which is nice. I like free international shipping.
I just go with TokyoTreat because it's the first one I came across and they do have a neat take on candies and snacks. Plus I don't see too many repeats at all from month to month. Most of the time I save them just to have something to sneak into the movie theater or have as a quickie snack at my desk. But yeah, I'd say most of the time, you get lots of great stuff and it's not the kind of thing you'll find locally. But, every now and then, there's one snack here or there that just wasn't as great as you thought it might be (which is fine, because there's plenty of American snacks and candies that I'm not crazy about either, and these guys have no clue what your taste preferences are). But overall, I'm pretty satisfied with it. It's fun, neat, and it's something to look forward to each month.
Yeah I actually only tried JapanCrate the first time because they offered me a free trial. It was pretty good. Like you said with you TokyoTreat (which I have seen advertised before now that I think about it) there was some candy with Pokemon branded on it. After having a successful trial I gave the bigger box a try next time. Honestly the next wasn't as great. I may give TokyoTreat a try later and see how it is.
