You can sorta see where I place the eyes / nose / mouth in relation to it. Helps especially when drawing in perspective, and then you can even add in more facial lines too, to help out with that.

Of course since I've drawn Pikachu so often myself, I don't usually do steps 1-4 anymore. I just do the whole thing in one go. XD
Ah, I should've recognized that unique fur tuft there xD. (Still need to work on a design for mine xD). I've just never used it, so I imagine if I just up and tried to the next time I attempted to draw Pikachu it'd be really weird.

Man I really need to draw Pikachu more ;-; I'd love to be able to just draw it like that lol. Thanks though Gem!
