Everyone has a preferred pet, but they are all enjoyable in their own ways! My cat before she died young was really adorable the way she liked to play. Always went into stealth mode at every single little thing. Even had like a sideways hop to her if you walked down the hallway while she did too. It was pretty funny! xD

I'm allergic to dog and cat hair. Either way I'm afraid of dogs ever since I got attacked.

I'm thinking of getting rabbits. The cage for them is a whole lot less expensive than I thought and it doesn't seem like they need enormous loads of stuff to stay happy and healthy. Not like a dog or cat anyway.

Thanks Neo. Yeah it was really sad how she passed on too. I'll hide it so you don't have to read in in case you don't.ile to gear/see this kind of stuff.

She started eating way less or being less playful and active. We started getting more concerned by like the 4th or 5th day. She didn't really even seem to want to drink any water and was always wanting to hide. So when we found her that day we noticed she op had an odd smell to her breath. It had a smell of like a decaying flesh (very foul smell). So my mom ended up checking her mouth as best as she could and she saw some bumps. We took her to the emergency clinic for an emergency check up. The ended up giving us something to try and give her until they could get her in for surgery one day. It only took 2 days, but still she got in fast. The day of we were kind of excited to get her fixed cause the surgeon took a look and thought it would be simple just to cut it off, but when he got her hooked up and the IV keeping her asleep he was able to look even deeper. These bumps and places she had stretched way deeper. Not just in her mouth, but in her throat and possibly even further down. She had the worst possible case of throat cancer. So he called us without doing the surgery and told us the news that they were just going to "put her to sleep" because it was too severe. Sad thing is, is she was only around 5 or 6 years old. Pretty young for a cat.

. All that was over last summer before we were scheduled to leave town on a 2 week long trip.

EE, that's sad... One of my cats passed away in wisconsin last year... And my dad didn't feel it totally necessary to tell us about it. He's an all out idiot.

The only problem is the cat would want to have the freedom to roam about the house. And sometimes my brother needs to us to take care of his TOTALLY CRAZY AND OUT OF CONTROL DOG during some weekends. If said dog were to run into the cat, boy, there would be chaos.

Well that's if you keep the cat inside. My cats were outside cats. I mean they used to stay inside but yeah, too much fur and all. xD Although I kinda get it with the dog and all. We wouldn't be able to get a cat now with our dog.

Yeah, but that's kind of why I'd rather go with the bunnies. I could keep them in my room upstairs and there wouldn't be a problem if NUTSO DOG stays downstairs, just so as long as I keep the door to my room shut. The only thing I'd need to do is bunny-proof the room, as I have computer wires and stuff like that all over the place, and I've read that they like to chew on those. Either that, or just keep a very close watch on them when letting them out of the cage.

My bunny chewed through my $90 Macbook charger. T^T I could have killed him. Was kinda hoping he'd get shocked and learn his lesson, but nope. They do like to chew everything. And dig. Mine loved digging. He dug under the backyard gates and escaped several times, EVEN though I was watching him!
