Actually, my bad, I forgot, my college laptop could handle Half Life 2, but under low quality settings with a few framerate issues also. Not bad, but today, it would probably be able to handle only indie games.

Luckily I tested mine out last night. It can run Final Fantasy 14 at maximum graphic at around 78-80fps.

Sweet, I don't think my machine was able to do that back when I was playing FF14.

80s games... I'll be honest, you didn't miss too much. Genesis/Super Nintendo definitely had a lot more memorable gems, but there were still good ones for both generations.

I'm trying to remember which game I dumped the most hours into. There were quite a few of them, but one of the games I remember the most from childhood was Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Holy crap, what an awesome game that one was.

Yeah, I didn't play too many sports games, not unless there was some kind of twist to them, like some of the Mario sports games had. Other than that, I think there was only one hockey game that my brother and I used to play a lot on Sega Genesis.

I've played Madden Football but only because:
A) my next door neighbor's last name is madden so I was obligated
2) my personal trainer is in the game in some years so I was obligated.
