your turn to roll
Lol once you're married it's like, "Pfft! Whateveeerrrrr!" xD
I used to get crushes. Mostly they'd only last a month or two, though, so they weren't a big deal. Since being in a relationship, I haven't had a crush on anyone else. I think it's not something you can control, like you said, Speed. I also know that it can be undesirable to have a crush while in a relationship (whether married or gf/bf). My brother developed a crush on one of his and his partner's mutual friends, and his partner found out...then things between them were really awkward and you could slice through the tension with a knife. Like...not good.
If I were to develop a crush, I'd force it to go away. I can actually do this, as I've done it in the past (before my relationship), but I'm pretty sure it's also some sort of superpower that a lot of people are incapable of. xD I don't become intoxicated by people to the point where I find them irresistible, so it's easy for me to distance myself from someone. I like it better that way. xD I don't care if my partner has a crush on anyone because I rarely get jealous, and I know that it's not going to lead anywhere.
Referring to the actual thread title, though, I do get butterflies when I watch TV/films sometimes when characters kiss. XD It's only when I actually like/approve of the romance, though, which isn't that often since I don't much like the romance genre, haha. But I do like it tied in with other things. Provided it's not dumb.
