Well even PMD has it that way since, well, genders aren't set. But I'm on about main games and this is assuming we ourselves are in a pokesona perspective. We would still have those natural traits.

Also that episode was from some device wasn't it? While even in the anime the same applies where Attract works on Pokemon of the opposite gender. I'm just going off what the anime/games/ and a little bit of personal opinion. So I'm not going off of anything "heteronormative" or anything
