I mean I understand spanish but I'm not so good at reading or writing it which is what most of the exam consists of.

I felt the same way about French classes. I think my problem is I just never really had any great foreign language teachers, so as a result, leaning new languages isn't something I've really excelled at.

Also, that Rosetta Stone program is just too boring. I think it would be cool if there was like some kind of RPG game that's in a foreign language, but helps you learn the language. I mean sure, you could play Skyrim and set the language to whatever, but that wouldn't really help you learn it. :P

My thing is they just assume you know the necessary vocab. Which I don't.

For me, I could remember nouns and verbs, but formulating sentences was something I had trouble with. There's a ton of things French does differently than English. Heck, so many sentences read backwards (rather than saying "the car is blue" the sentence flows more like "blue is the car.") and it's very difficult to get used to it.
