Probably very low given I don't own a tv, don't have netflix or anything of that sort, and don't own a DVD copy nor do I have the ability to rent one.

Yes I can still watch anime and anything I burn to a DVD at home. I think the university does have a firewall so every month or so I have to restart my computer because the thing just gets so clogged or something.

Sometimes, depending on where you are or what limits you. Proxys don't always work. Depends on what and where.

99% of all free wi-fi is crappy. Those servers just can't handle that much thru traffic.

student only or not, it's just not large enough to support so many people on at once. They need to increase their bandwidth
