Haven't been on much lately due to...circumstances...but I feel the need to point out that Sabi has never taken worldbuilding lightly, and the people who are in control of the countries at this point don't take it lightly either. XD We're not talking about a paragraph long description for each country here whne the full RP is released.

This is making me expect that the countries section will take up two whole posts to the word count, bare minimum. I'm looking forward just to seeing the end results. :D Keep up the good work behind the curtain!

Sabi = Dark/Dragon/Flying
Winter = Normal/Psychic/Fairy
XaiakuX= Ghost/Poison/Ice
Shen = Fire/Water/Electric

The Rock/Steel/Fighting one is being cooperatively worked on by myself and Caleb while we have someone else in the works replacing the Grass/Ground/Bug, as that was Neo's but he had to drop out because real life stuff.

Glorifies death? Perfect. No way am I turning back from my plan of Dragon slayer now. I've got context and everything.

Now now, I didn't say glorify, I said honors. p= It might not be what you think.

Anyone else get a Heroes of Might and Magic feeling from the countries?

Flying/Dragon/Dark = Chaos
Normal/Psychic/Fairy = Haven/Life
Grass/Bug/Ground = Sylvan/Nature
Fire/Water/Electric = Academy/Order
Rock/Steel/Fighting = Stronghold/Might
Ice/Poison/Ghost = Dungeon, maybe Necropolis/Death if I'm interpreting things properly

Ditto is one of the Pokemon that we already have a prerequisite, or a clause for. The ability of someone who Augments a Ditto can only change their physical appearance in minor cases and only temporarily, as well as their outer wear temporarily [however they can change it completely] and Ditto can't be used as a Primary Augment because it doesn't have enough of it's own skills to be a Primary.

We have other special clauses for other weird Pokemon like Castform. This was to prevent any kind of abuse and clear up any confusion on form changing Pokemon.

All the countries are getting their own posts so that the people in charge of said country can edit their own posts and not need my modly skills for it. However spoiler tags exist for a reason. As for an ETA, we're working to get it out ASAP. Having more bumps in the road again.

Question, can someone in say the Rock/Steel/Fighting country have augments outside of those types? I'm assuming yes in some respects but just wanted to wonder how closely country and your character's augments had to be.

If you want to be part of a faction, requirement is usually 2/3 Augments and some other requirements that will be mentioned. [I'll have factions listed on opening day, but it's basically the most prominent group in a country] If you just live inn a country, then it's best to have at least one. Complete Trinity's [AKA having all three Augments] is fairly uncommon, but I know everyone's probably going to play Characters with all three. XD

When it comes to Augments though, you can use any Pokemon that shares that type. So any Pokemon with a Rock type, and Pokemon with a Steel type, etc. Active skills need to match the type of Augment, and if the linked Pokemon can learn that move and it needs to be in their learnset.

I was getting confused as to why you called it 'your' country. :P Herp a derp. But knowing who's behind the world building here just makes my day. Keep up the good behind-the-curtain work, guys!

I dunno, Sabi, Ice/Ghost/Poison sounds JUST like the types I'd associate with a cold-blooded assassin. What with poisons to silently kill and the invisibility and sneakiness of ghost types, and, well, the coldness of Ice Types...I expect this country to be called Frostyninjaland-*Brick'd, so hard*

Cool. This means I CAN Mega Evo without the world blowing up?

Oh, yes, while I'm at it...What's the status on Mega Evos? Could we possibly start out with stuff like the Mega Ring and the proper stone, or would we have to legitimately earn that stuff? And what happens if a Pokemon we augment to Mega Evolves?
