It is a new month and that means we have a new Mythical Pokemon to collect in honor of Pokemon’s 20th anniversary!
Pokemon trainers can get Arceus during the month of August! If you want the chance to add the Alpha Pokemon to your collection then you need to go to GameStop between August 1—August 24 to receive a code to download Arceus to your Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Arceus was first introduce Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl but it wasn’t until Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver where players could actually own one. The Arceus that was distributed during that time could be used in HGSS to unlock an event where the player can receive a Palkia, Dialga or Giratina at level 1.
TCG fans can celebrate by purchasing Mythical Pokémon Collection—Arceus. It comes with a special full art promo of Arceus, two Generations packs and an Arceus pin.
If you want to watch Arceus on the your television then Pokemon has offered Pokémon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life for your viewing pleasure. This adventure puts Ash and friends on a journey through time and space to resolve a dispute involving Arceus. The movie has been remastered and available to download on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Video.
