Get Ready For The Season Of GO!

The latest Season has one simple message….GO!

The Season of GO has just been announced and will be starting on June 1st and running to September 1st. There is a lot to get excited for including new spawns, in-person events and of course, GO Fest 2022.

To kick things off, we were given advance notice of the three Community Days that will be taking place during the Season of GO. Mark your calendars for June 25th, July 17th, and August 13th. No details were given as to who the feature Pokémon will be, but make sure you set some time those days to play.

Next, there will be some new bonuses in effect all season long. These bonuses are actually a good way to combat some of the resent changes made to the game. We have the list of what you can expect during the next three months:

  • Increased friendship bonus damage for Raids
  • Lure Module will last one hour
  • One extra Special Trade per day
  • One extra Pokémon Candy when trading Pokémon
  • Guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon
  • Guaranteed Gifts from spinning PokéStop
  • Increased damage for Pokémon participating in Remote Raids
  • Increased Incense effectiveness while moving

In addition to these incredible bonuses, a new change will be implemented at the start of the Season of GO, and will last indefinitely. The level at which you can begin earning XL Candy will be lowered to 31. Now more Trainers can start collecting XL Candy to prepare for maxing out your Pokémon when the time comes.

Ticketed Events

If you haven’t yet heard, Pokemon GO Fest is coming up next week. If you haven’t gotten your ticket for the event yet, what are you waiting for? I know for a fact our very own Noble Janobi is going crazy over Shaymin, who will make it’s Pokemon GO debut during GO Fest 2022. If that isn’t enough to get you hyped, There will be over 70 different Pokémon to catch, including region exclusives Tropius and Torkoal. Oh and did I mention Shaymin? I feel that’s important to note.

In addition to the World-wide Pokemon GO Fest 2022, there will also be three In-Person ticketed events in Seattle, Sapporo, and Berlin. For full details on those check out the Pokémon GO Blog and click on the city you are interested in visiting. Please note these events require you to be in the specified location during the event. They will not be active world-wide.

Pokémon Appearing Near You

As with every new Season, The Pokémon that you see around you will be changing to reflect the new theme. Depending which biome you are in, will determine the Pokémon you will find more frequently. Let’s take a look at some of those Pokémon. Also, any of them marked with an asterisk can be Shiny!
