Want to hang out with some cool people and maybe help preserve history?
Then you want to be on Twitch this Saturday, May 28th! That just so happen to be the 10th anniversary for “Did You Know Gaming”. Still, you may be interested in their auction to raise money for a good cause.
The anniversary stream will run from 10AM to 9pm EST. Though, if you want to be there for the Pokemon fun and auction then tune in at 4PM. That is when Gaming and Pokemon historian Dr. Lava and famed Pokemon translator Nob Ogasawara will be on.
During this time Dr. Lava and Nob Ogasawara will be talking about Pokemon and Nob’s experience on translating the Pokemon games during the early phases of Pokemon’s life. Some of these tidbits may include the experience of working on translating Pokemon during Generation 1 and 2. They will then host an auction for complete-in-box copies of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Each one of them signed by their translator, Nob Ogasawara.
All proceeds of the auction will go to Retromags. A site dedicated to preserving video game history by scanning and maintains a public archive of old gaming magazines.
