That is because Pikachu is our next 7 Star Terra Raid Event! With a Special Water Tera Type! This event will run from February 24th to February 27th! There is no word if this raid event will repeat.
It is worth noting that this raid event ends on Monday instead of the usual Sunday afternoon.
You can expect to see plenty of different Pokemon as part of the Pikachu the Mighty raid event. Some of these Pokemon include Bronzong and Lucario in 4 and 5 Star Raids.
Pikachu the Mighty Details
This Pikachu will have the Water Tera Type. It can be found in Seven Star Raids and will be at Level 100. When captured, Pikachu will have the Mightiest Mark.
If you decide to take on Pikachu then you can expect it to use several different types of moves. Some of them include various Electric type moves.
Remember, you can only catch one Pikachu from the event. Though, you can battle it as many times as you want for some amazing raid rewards!
Greninja the Mighty Advice
It is currently too early to predict what type of Pokemon will be used for this event. While you may want to use a Ground type Pokemon, that may be the worst idea. After all, this Pikachu will be the Water Tera Type. That means it will surely be packing a Water type attack of sorts. If I would have to make a guess then I think it would know Surf. If it does happen to know Surf then this Pikachu will be a reference to Surfing Pikachu from Pokemon Yellow.
If you want my initial advice on Pokemon to use for this 7 Star Tera Raid then look like Pokemon such as Gastrodon, Quagsire and Clodsire. They are all Ground types which will give immunity to Pikachu’s Electric attacks. They also all have an ability that grants them Water immunity to any Water attacks Pikachu may know.
