New Japanese ‘Sun and Moon’ Trailer

New trailer
A new Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer was release today. This one had some interesting scenes in it to hype up the future trainers of Alola.

The trailer release today for Pokemon Sun and Moon went over a lot of the information that we have gotten in the last few weeks. It showed scenes involving Team Skull, The Aether Foundation and PokeRide. Though there were a few interesting scenes that have gotten Pokemon fans excited.

The first piece of interesting information is a possible return of an old character from Generation 5 named Professor Burnet. This professor was debut in Pokemon Dream Radar that was released at the same time as Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. This game allowed players to catch Pokemon using AR technology to help Burnet research the Interdream Zone. It looks as if Burnet is back based on a quick shot of a scene.

The scene shown above may simply be a name and a text box but we want to look at the name. The kanji of the name is almost the same as Burnet. It looks as if the researcher has found her way to Alola.

This isn’t the first time that a character from a side game has enter the main game. Bridgette was once from Pokemon Box before she took over as manager in Pokemon Bank. Perhaps Burnet may end up playing a similar role.

We have another professor coming into Alola as well with the name of Oak.

Oak

It is unsure if the character above is the same Professor Oak from Kanto that many know. This person does look like Samuel Oak but with a dark tan and long hair. The text does mention that he is in Alola to research Region Forms.

Please note that the name above the text box does says Oak but it may not be the same Oak from Kanto. After all, Oak isn’t Professor Oak’s first name. This could be a relative to Professor Oak who happens to be in the Alola region.

EDIT: It has been comfirmed that this Oak look-a-like is Professor Oak’s cousin, Nariya Oak (Japanese name).

Lastly….Isn’t technology amazing!

Isn't technolgy amazing!
