Earlier today was the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade where many performers, floats, balloons and stars paraded though New York City to celebrate Thanksgiving and bring forth the Christmas seasons. Among them this year was Pikachu representing Pokemon with a brand new balloon.
The new Pikachu balloon features Pikachu wearing a scarf around his neck to keep him warm in the cold New York City weather. If you look in Pikachu’s hands then you can see him holding an adorable snow-pika. This balloon is simply perfect for Pokemon to bring in the festive season and goes along great with the theme of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
Pikachu was lead in by performers dancing to variations of popular video game theme songs and introduce by Al Rocker who seem to have forgotten how to pronounced Pokemon. Even with that flub, Pikachu brought joy to many Pokemon fans watching as it flew in the air happily to help usher in the holiday season.
