Information about the next TCG set coming to American has been revealed. As you can see above, the logo for BREAKthrough has been shown. The words “BREAK” are in gold which reflects the new BREAK Evolution and the gold color that BREAK Pokemon cards become.

6 new Pokemon BREAK featuring a brand-new game mechanic
8 new Pokemon-EX, including 4 Mega Evolution Pokemon
BREAKthrough will be based on the Japanese Red Flash and Blue Impact sets. These two sets will contain 118 cards combined. According to the information above, that means we will have 42 or more additional cards in the English release. These extra cards may come from other Japanese premade decks such as “Break Battle Deck: Golduck Break + Palkia EX”, “Double Mega Break Set: M Aerodactyl EX + M Mawile EX + Luxray Break” and “Emboar EX vs Togikiss EX”. Though it isn’t sure from where these additional 40 plus cards will come from.
So far only two Mewtwo EX, two M Mewtwo EX, Glalie EX, M Glalie EX, Houndoom EX, M Houndoom EX have been revealed by various Japanese Pokemon sources. With the mention Pokemon, that makes eight EX Pokemon which matches BREAKthrough‘s set description. The various other EX Pokemon such as Palkia EX, Mawile EX, M Mawile EX, Emboar EX, Togekiss EX, Aerodactyl EX, and M Aerodactyl EX are unsure of when or how they will be released.
As for BREAK Pokemon, only Zoroark BREAK and Chesnaught BREAK have been revealed to be part of the Japanese set and will most likely be part of BREAKthrough. Raichu BREAK, Noivern BREAK, Luxray BREAK, and Golduck BREAK are part of Japanese purchased deck and unsure if it will be part of the English set. This could mean that there are four other BREAK Pokemon that haven’t been revealed or these four may actually be included in BREAKthrough.
Only time will tell which EX Pokemon and BREAK Pokemon will be included in BREAKthrough. Either way, this set is proving to be quite interesting.
