So what does Pikapi Podcast have to say about…
What type of podcast do you have? Why do you make the type of podcast that you make?
 Anne: A Pokemon Anime recap podcast! I really enjoy thinking deeply about the show, and at the time I started, very few people were doing such things. |
What drew you to the Pokemon franchise?
| Anne: Ash’s relationships to Pikachu and all of his friends. |
What inspired you to podcast?
| Anne: No one in my life cared to hear me go on about Ash being trilingual and other random trivia- surely someone on the internet would listen! And as an actor, I wanted to try creating my own opportunities. |
What keeps you going when it comes to podcasting and Pokemon?
| Anne: The humor and being able to appreciate new things about the world through Ash’s experience. |
What kind of feeling do you wish your listeners to have when listening to your podcast?
| Anne: Hopefully a laugh or two, and maybe that there’s something adventurous in the things we consider ordinary |
What is the hardest part when it comes to podcasting?
| Anne: Staying on task, and overcoming fears. |
What has been the best Podcast moment you have had?
| Anne: Overhearing someone at a convention mention my Podcast 🥰 |
If you can suggest an episode of your podcast to a new listener, which episode would it be? Why?
| Anne: The Movie 6 episode! Movies are a monster episode to record, but such a good time and this one was a doozy! |
