Hosted by the hosts, Professor Fierce and Professor Fierce. Though, if that is too confusing you can call them Alex and JD. Some people play the Pokemon game based on a region. These professors are making up a region of their own. From the Pokemon that inhabit it to the people who battle in it.
And this past weekend they celebrated the one year anniversary of their podcast, PokeMakers! This is quite a cool experience because this podcast is different from others! In the last year or two, tons of people have started to make their own region.
Though, Alex and JD decided to do this in a podcast median. So each episode you get to hear the live and in-depth thoughts of making a region from scratch. It is one thing to say you are making a region but thinking and developing that region is a different beast all together.
With that said, we got together with Alex and JD from PokeMakers to see which episodes are their “top favorite episodes”. That way you can get to listen to the best of PokeMakers if you are new. If you are already a fan then you can now revisit some of the greatest hits one more time.

| Episode 18: Spooky Ghost Types! Our Halloween episode, we really took a step back to let loose and have fun, making a wild west ghost town, and a handful of Ghost type Pokémon. |
| Episode 23: Regional Variants Another episode all about making Pokémon, but this time they’re all putting new twists on old ones, especially when we can give them a west coast flavour. A fun one for seeing how we put spins on existing designs. |
