Pokemon Bank has updated and has plenty of new thing to help bring your Pokemon to Generation 7!
The update for Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter has gone live. Players can go to the Nintendo 3DS eShop to download the update. This update will allow players to connect Pokemon Bank to Pokemon Sun & Moon and Pokemon Transport to move Pokemon from the Virtual Console versions of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow.
Below is a list of features that Pokemon Bank now has with the update.
- As announced , you will be able to transfer your Pokemon from the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow to Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
- Pokemon transfer from Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow will have their Hidden Ability when transferred. EX: A Mewtwo caught in RBY will have Unverve instead of Pressure.
- Pokemon may have at least three IV’s maxed out.
- The natures of Pokemon will be completely random.
- Pokemon that were transferred from the Virtual Console games will have a Gameboy symbol.
- Pokemon Bank will now count which Pokemon you have captured and registered in your Pokedexes from previous games that are linked to Pokemon Bank. That means Pokemon caught in ORAS and XY will be updated to be in your Pokedex in Sun and Moon without having to transfer them into said games.
- Pokemon Bank will show stats for each of your linked games. Some of these status will include which Pokemon is in which game, how many Pokemon you caught in each of them, the number of eggs hatched, wild Pokemon encountered.
Those who download the update will also receive a Mewnium Z which will allow Mew to use Genesis Supernova Z-Move. Players have until October 2nd, 2017 to receive this gift.
Please note that the Mew obtain though the Mew Glitch in Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow can not be transfer via Pokemon Transport.
