Time to brush up on your Hisuian lore!
That is of course if you aren’t familiar with the new Pokémon of Legends: Arceus. The newest hit Pokémon game has many great features, one more notably are the regional Pokémon forms that can be found. We have already been introduced to Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode in Pokémon GO, and with this new upcoming event, even more are going to be spawning near you.

Several new Hisuian Pokémon will be making their debut during this time. Be sure to be on the lookout for Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Quilfish, and Hisuian Sneasle while you are out exploring new areas. While their evolutions may not be available right off the bat, you can look forward to awesome new Pokémon such as, Hisuian Arcanine, Overqwil, and Sneasler.

Raid Eggs are appearing at a Gym near you. One-Star Raids are easy to solo for some quick rewards and XP. If this is your game play style, look forward to Sneasel, Roselia, and Shinx hanging out waiting for you to take them down.
Looking for more of a fight? Three-Star Raids can be done by yourself if you are high enough in level, or if you have the right team. But it’s more fun, and much easier, if you bring a friend or two. Chansey, Togetic, Kirlia, and Whiscash will be awaiting your challenge.

The four Hisuian Pokémon featured this event will also be hatching from 7km Eggs during this time, so, if you really can’t get enough of these great Pokémon, this is the best way to get even more candy. There will also be a Collection Challenge to go along with this event. Catch ’em all to receive XP, Stardust and an Incubator.
And if battling is what keeps you coming back, introducing the Hisui Cup! Only Pokémon discovered in the Hisui Region or Pokémon with a Pokédex number from #387 to #493 will be allowed to compete. So be sure to plan out your team now if you want to rank up.
The design of the Hisuian Pokémon are some of my favorite so I am very excited to be able to finally catch them in Pokemon GO. Are you looking forward to this event? Let us know on Twitter.
See you around, Genesect!
