There is a new reason to go out and play Pokemon GO!
A new Pokemon GO event will be starting on September 22nd. The Fall Equinox event will give players the opportunity to hatch hard to get Pokemon and reward players for catching new Pokemon.
During the Fall Equinox event, players will earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon. Also, 2K Eggs will have a high chance of hatching into a Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar, and more. The in-game store will be selling special boxes that will have items like Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules, and all-new Super Incubators. The Super Incubators has the ability to hatch Eggs 1.5 times quicker. Lastly, if you registrar a new Pokemon to your Pokedex then you will be give three times the amount of Stardust. This will be the perfect time to go catch one of the Legendary Beasts.
The Pokemon GO blog is advertising this event as “New seasons mean new adventures”. Does this mean we will see Generation 3 Pokemon being introduced in the Pokemon GO? Only time will tell.
The Fall Equinox will start on September 22nd and end on October 2nd. So make sure to get out there to catch and hatch!
