The spotlight is out today on a special Pokemon!
Today marks the first ever Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour. During this hour you will see an increase of spawns for a certain Pokemon. Today that spotlight will be on Onix!
There will be an increase of Onix today from 6pm to 7pm in your local timezone. Onix has a chance to be shiny.
The Spotlight Hour is an experimental event that Niantic is trying for Pokemon GO. If it proves popular then we may see more Pokemon featured in the spotlight.
