Pokemon Masters is about to celebrate their one year anniversary!
And they have plenty of big things to unveil! Including a brand new update that will change the name of the game! Plus new features and new events!
New Name!
Pokemon Masters will have a huge update on August 27th. Once this update is completed, the game will change it’s name to Pokemon Masters EX!
This update and name change is to celebrate the one year anniversary for Pokemon Masters. The change of the name is to focus on the new features that the game will have.
6 Star EX Sync Pairs
The first of the new features include 6 Star EX Sync Pairs. These are Sync Pairs that you can level up into 6 Star EX Sync Pairs. You will have to do certain things to level up your 5 Star Star Sync Pairs into 6 Stars.
6 Star EX Sync Pairs will have a strong Sync Move plus will allow you to change their outfit’s color. The example given during the Developers Message video features Sygna Suit Red. His outfit was changed to be blue and black to match the colors of his Mega Charizard X.
Upon the release of this feature, only a limited amount of Sync Pairs could become 6 Star EX Sync Pairs. There will also be new Sync Pairs release in the game with 6 Star already unlocked. There is also promises of the Sync Pairs in the game will eventually get their 6 Stars unlock as well.
Champion Stadium
A new solo feature will be added to Pokemon Masters on August 27th. This new feature is called the Champion Stadium.
The Champion Stadium will allow you to battle against the Elite Four and Champion of several different regions. You will take in fifteen Sync Pairs to make five teams. You will take part in five battles using one of the five teams you make. Once that team has battled then they can’t be used again. The Champion Stadium will have two modes: Normal and Hard.
The Pokemon and type weaknesses will change each week when battled on Hard.
The first Elite Four and Champion to be featured in the Champion Stadium will be Kanto. The Kanto Challenge will feature Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha and Lance. Blue will be acting as the Champion. Other region’s Elite Four and Champion will be featured at a later time.
Current Event: New World Dilemma!
To start off the one year anniversary, a new Legendary Event has started: New World Dilemma! This story event features Cyrus & Palkia. Also, the introduction of Sygna Suit Cynthia. More details about this event can be found by clicking here.
Grass, Fire, Water-type Egg Event
A new egg event is coming to Pokemon Masters on September 2nd. Grass, Fire, Water-type Egg Event will allow you to get eggs of Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. This Pokemon could also have different moves from Pokemon from their species.
Family Ties Event
On September 9th, the Family Ties Event will start. This event features Lillie, Gladion and Lusamine joining a tournament that will test their family bond. They are in search of a mentor to teach them how to battle together. More details of this event will come later.
Other Notes
The developers for Pokemon Masters mentions that Sygma Suits and Seasonal Outfits have been highly demanded by players. They will try harder to have these features release at a quicker pace. It was also said that players can expect new seasons outfits to be release around Halloween.
Lastly, Pokemon Masters will give out 3000 Gems on August 27th.
