Pokemon Movie Release to be Delay

KOKO
Looks like we can’t expect to go to the movies any time soon.

It has been announced that Pokemon the Movie: Koko will be postpone until further notice. This is due to the current COVID-19 epidemic that has hit Japan and around the world. There has been no date on when will be release in theaters.

Pokemon the Movie: Koko was set to be release in Japan on July 10th 2020. Tickets for the movie were put on hold not long ago. Product tie-ins for the movie have started to be sold in Japan. There is no word if there will be a delay of the Japanese TCG set, Legendary Heartbeat. This TCG set is to be release on July 10th, the same day as the movie. It is rumored that this set was to contain a card for Zarude.

Because of the movie being postpone, the Zarude and Shiny Celebii distribution will also be postpone. Both Pokemon were set to be distributed in Japan with the release of the movie.

A Pokemon movie has never been postpone before. This is a first for the Pokemon franchise. When more news concerning the movie is released then we will report upon it.
