A huge Pokemon Presents for Pokemon Day!
A Pokemon Presents was held on Pokemon Day as always. And as always, huge news was given out!
Below we will provide you a quick recap of all the news that was part of today’s Pokemon Presents.
Pokémon Concierge
New season of Pokémon Concierge will be release in September 2025.
Pokémon GO
Urshifu and Kubfu were teased to be coming to Pokemon GO.
Pokémon Masters EX
For Pokemon Masters EX, Brenden and May were shown to have new outfits in Pokemon Masters EX. May will be getting a Sync Pair with Shiny Kyorge. Meanwhile Brenden will be getting a Sync Pair with Shiny Groudon. Both Pokemon will be able to Primal Reversion.
Pokémon Sleep
A new event featuring Darkrai and Cresselia will be coming to Pokemon Sleep.
Pokémon Unite
New playable Pokemon will be coming out in Pokemon Unite. Suicune will be joining Pokemon Unite on March 1st. Alolan Riachu will be playable in April. Lastly, Alcremie will be release soon.
Pokémon TCG Pocket
A brand new set will be release in Pokemon TCG Pocket. This set will be called Triumphant Light which will feature Arceus. Triumphant Light will be released on tomorrow, February 28th.
Pokémon TCG
In the Pokemon TCG, it was teased that Mega Evolutions will be returning. They will be part of the Pokemon ex mechanic.
The Mega Pokemon will be treated as Stage 1 Pokemon or Stage 2 Pokemon. This will depend on when the Pokemon will evolve into the stage normally. For example, Riolu would normally evolve into Lucario. Though, you can Mega Evolve it by placing down Mega Lucario ex. Meanwhile, you can evolve Kirlia into Mega Gardevoir ex instead of Gardevoir or Gardevoir ex.
Lastly, these Mega Pokemon will give up three Prize Cards.
Pokémon Champions
Pokemon Champions is a new game that will be release on the Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. It will focus on battles. Based on the trailer, Mega Evolution and Terastallisation. You will be able to connect Pokemon Champions to Pokemon HOME to transfer Pokemon into the game to battle.
Pokémon Legends ZA
Several new details for Pokemon ZA has been released today. Some of the big points includes the following.
- Will take place only in Lumiose City.
- AZ will be returning as a character.
- Starter Pokemon will be Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile.
- The battle system will have you move around and will include range for Pokemon attacks.
- You can encounter wild Pokemon in Lumiose City via Wild Zones.
- Mega Evolution will be in the game.
- Friendly character will be named Urbain or Taunie.
- Lumiose City’s redevelopment will be headed by Quasartico Inc.
Pokemon Legends ZA will be released in late 2025.
