Is it possible to buy Pokemon cards from a vending machine…In the United States!

It is more likely then you think! And it could be coming to a store near you! That is because Pokemon Vending Machines can be found in several states in the United States and could be expanding. Especially if what I can see is anything to go by.

What are Pokemon Vending Machines?

It is exactly what it sounds. Pokemon Vending Machines. They are vending machines with a Pokemon theme as you can see in the picture above. There is a big Pokeball on the top. If you want to purchase something then you will use the touchscreen to make your selection. Once you make your selection and pay then you will get your Pokemon product of choice straight from the vending machine.

These Pokemon Vending Machines are operated and own by the Pokemon Company International. Each one of them in stocked with various Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Packs and so many more TCG product. As you can see in the picture above, they are currently promoting the current TCG set, Obsidian Flames.

Where Can I find a Pokemon Vending Machines?

You can find these Pokemon Vending Machines in a few states as of right now in various grocery stores. Some of these groceries stores include Fred Meyer, HMart, Safeway, and King Soopers. As of states, they are in Washington, Oregon and Colorado. The vending machine in the picture above was recently found in Texas.

Most of the information mentioned so far has been found from a Pokemon Center FAQ. This FAQ was updated around 4 months ago. You can see in the FAQ that it list all the locations where you can find a Pokemon Vending Machine. Though, as of right now there are no locations listed in the FAQ for Texas.

Now, there have been other official Pokemon Vending machines as of 2019 based on pictures I have seen online. Still, this is the first one being in Texas. Perhaps this is a sign that the vending machine programing is expanding to states outside of Washington, Oregon and Colorado. If you happen to spot one at your local grocery store then let us know!
