Two new events have begun for Pokémon Sword and Shield! For a short time, players can use passwords to obtain two competitively viable battle ready Pokémon. However, they’re only available for a short time so be sure to grab them while you can!
Gastrodon
The first, and more urgent of the two distributions, is the Gastrodon distribution! This Gastrodon matches the Gastrodon used by the winner of the 2019 Pokémon Japan Championships. It has the moves Protect, Surf, Ice Beam and Earth Power and comes at Level 50. It has competitively focused IVs with max in HP, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense with a 0 IV in Speed. and comes fully EV Trained. This is obtained with the code: PJCS2019CHAMP and can only be redeemed until tomorrow at 14:59 UTC. So be sure to get it while you can!
Porygon2
The second distribution is a battle ready Porygon2! It is Sassy, comes with an Eviolite and has the moves Recover, Trick Room, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. It has max EVs in HP and Defense and max HP IV, though its Attack and Speed IVs are guaranteed 0. Defense, Special Attack and Special Defense IVs are random. The code is PKMNPLAYERSCUP and is scheduled to run until August 31st.
So with such a limited time to grab them, be sure to get them while you can!
