The London International has concluded and a surprising black horse took the top spot! Today we have Zoroark GX/Golisopod GX being piloted by Top Deck Nation.
Zoroark GX/Golisopod GX is a deck that mainly focus on Zoroark GX to do the heavy lifting. This Pokemon has been mention on TCG Jump a few times already. Though if you need a reminder then here it is. Zoroark GX is a quick attacker thanks to it being a Stage 1 and attacks for a Double Colorless Energy. All you need is a full bench to do heavy damage. Zoroark GX also has the amazing Trade ability to help you keep drawing cards. This deck plays four Zoroark GX which means you can always find ways to draw cards.
Meanwhile, Golisopod GX is also a quick Stage 1 attacker. It only needs one Grass energy to hit 120 damage. That is pretty quick for something that has 210 HP.
If you combine the speed that both Zoroark GX and Golisopod GX brings then you have a deadly combination. These two Pokemon can knockout low HP evolution Pokemon. It can two hit KO any big HP Stage 3 or Big Basic Pokemon. That is because these two Pokemon can keep the hits coming. Throw in cards like Acerola to pick up damaged Pokemon and this deck is ensure to wear down your opponent. It won’t be taking many one hit KOs but each hit it does dish out will bring you closer to a knockout.
