The next TCG expansion for the US has been named to be called Phantom Forces. This set will be based on Japan’s Phantom Gate and Hyper Metal Chain deck. The Japanese set will be release in September and promises to bring a boost to Psychic type Pokemon within the TCG.
Thanks to the news of the English equivalent of Phantom Gate, we now know more information about the Japanese set. Pokemon to be featured as EX Pokemon along with Gengar EX and M Gengar EX includes: Manectric EX, M Manectric EX, Aegislash EX and Dialga EX.
This set will also introduce a new mechanic call “Spirit Link” cards. There is no information about what these cards will do but it is said that they will “push the limits of Mega Evolution”. Perhaps this will make it easier to use the Mega Evolution mechanic.
Phantom Forces will be release in the United States on November 5th.
