New teaser images have begun to appear!
New Team GO Rocket images have been appearing on social media lately. It appears the Pokémon GO Twitter has gone completely dark as these new images only provide fans with silhouettes and a date, 7/28, this Sunday. Fans also noted received a rather ominous notification earlier in the evening of 7/26 with just one letter, R.
What could these messages mean? They seem to indicate that phase 2 of Team GO Rocket’s plan is heading into action. While some of the pictures are just those of regular rocket grunts, the picture above seems to have a new silhouette, possibly of an admin or even of Giovanni himself. It’s possible we may see a Team GO Rocket takeover on a mass scale similar to the event currently underway in New York City. More Shadow Pokémon may also be on the horizon as well. Could this be the way generation five is introduced? Will the Pokémon initially only be obtainable as Shadow Pokémon that need to be purified? Only time will answer these questions and more, so stay tuned for Sunday as the next event seems to be starting to go underway.
