image

Information has been released about the antagonist team we will encounter in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games along with yet another wave of new Alola forms and new Pokémon!

Guzma

Team Skull causes a lot of trouble in the Alola region by stealing Pokémon and messing up trial sites. They are led by Guzma, the Team Boss. He battles mercilessly by pouring on the attacks.

Pokemon.com elaborates on his sour attitude.

He certainly does seem strong, but he claims to be one of those who “never could become captains.” He seems to have a bone to pick with Professor Kukui, as well.

Plumeria

Plumeria is the Admin of Team Skull. She is considered the big sister of the team, keeping the grunts in line and working together like a strict older sibling would.

Pokemon.com talks more about her management style.

She seems to care for the Grunts who are below her in the pecking order, and she’s not one to let it go if someone’s given them a walloping.

Grunts_male

The Team Skull Grunts wear matching black Skull Tanks. These uniforms are not provided for them. They have to buy their own. Video of Team Skull reveals that they keep their Pokémon in a variety of Poké Balls like Nest and Ultra.

There are many Grass-type Pokémon—Marowak’s natural enemies—in the Alola region. This makes Alola a harsh environment for Cubone and Marowak. Pokemon.com describes a pleasant smell Raichu produces.

Raichu has electric sacs on its cheeks, and rubbing them causes a sweet aroma to be released. The mechanism behind this is not clear, but it’s thought to be connected to the psychic power that Alolan Raichu possess.
